90% of the comment was good, but I think the "both sides are bad" narrative is one of the most dangerous narratives in America today. Yes, no side is perfect, but insisting that both sides are just as bad and pretending that unity and compromise is the best option just enables one side to drag the middle ground as far to their side as they want by becoming more radical. One side is doing this far more than the other, and we all know which one it is. They're not "both bad," and saying that enables people on the side that is far worse to normalize their views.

There is no room to compromise with or give ground to people who are actively funneling the world's wealth to a select few at the expense of millions of lives and the future of the planet.

There are two rules when it comes to borrowing anything from me.

Let one of my best friends take my HD out for a burn one afternoon and when he didnt come back at a reasonable time, I knew something was messed up. I jumped on another bike and went out looking for him, found him running down the road on foot covered in blood and tar. He had been going too fast onto a freshly sealed road and lost control making him go down at about 40 mph. He had skidded across the road like a water skipper losing bits of skin along the way. When I had found him all he could say " your bike is fucked up, your bike is fucked up!" I started checking him over, he had rock, tar and dirt literally under parts of his skin and in his scalp along with the road rash, nothing broken though. He was bleeding pretty good so you could imagine the site of this dude covered in black tar and his red blood flowing over it. I got my him calmed down but he was more concerned about my motorcycle than he was himself. I asked if he needed medical attention and he said no, he wanted to go get my bike out of the gutter.

Well we got the bike gathered up and back to the shop and yeah, it was fucked. He offered to pay for everything that needed fixed but this wasnt my first nor will it be my last time this bike has been fucked up. Thats a different story. I already had a majority of the parts and we have connections with painters so I was able to get the bike fixed and back on the road in a matter of a few weeks for about $100 total. Buddy paid up and turned out fine, his mom is an emergency room nurse so we went to her house after we got the bike back to the shop and she checked him out. Gave him the eye roll with a thumbs up, spent the rest of the evening drinking whiskey and scrubbing the tar out of his wounds.

My sister fucking sucks. I can finally move in to my house that she has lived at for the past 11 months but she wanted the upstairs (which is where the tenants live(d)). So they are leaving and now I have to continue being fucking homeless until she paints the walls, gets new carpets, etc. etc.

She could have lived in the downstairs and been alllll moved in and situated months ago. But no, she CHOSE to live out of boxes for a year just so she could have the fucking upstairs and now she’s gonna take her sweet ass time to move in while I’m stuck in the middle of December with no where to go.

Was going to bitch about how i was still trying to get my employee pass as if today but all the kooks at the mtn and the 4g was dead.

Everything from lacking functioning interney ti the app fucking out. Ended up getting pissed and just hiking to the park for a while. Couldnt ride with my friends.

My boss wants me to ride with him to make a plan for our next park build outs. He's been trying to get that in for a week. Ive also been free grooming a bunch because small park goes quick and trying to get out and ride and learn the mtn better.

Anyway line was fucked again today, hr didnt care. But i got a heads up that was empty later and rolled back.

Guy got there right as I set my shit down but whatever 1 person beats 10-100. Anyway waiting for dude to get passes for his kids, nbd. Rogue dude slides in from side around building loosely infront of me but facing ticket window and eyeing that. Everyone behind me was in line for guest services so again nbd.

Dude in front of me wraps up his lassea and dips. Rogue lurker guy tries to send it toward the counter. I see this bullshit and get a nice cruise by him to the window. He throws his arms up like Wtf dude?!?!? I called him out. He was like i didnt say anything. Again was like yo dawg i was ahead of you chill out. Then jerry waiting in line was tslking to him like "Yeah man i totally saw him cut you" like motherfucker i got there actuslly before the last guy but was setting my shit down, so i was here begore any of you motherfuckers. Anyway was nice to lady at counter she was nice to me. I got my pass nbd. But then saw douchers freaking out on other people. Lines were a shit show of agro dad types.

Idk glad i got my damn pass. Shit was pretty frustrating. Especially when you're working 10 hours overnight grooming the friggin mtn and can't even ski it.

Obviously i wanted to brapp some laps for fun. But j really wanted to hit the park get a feel for how shit rides so i know how to maintain it and if things need to be tweaked. Boss wants to do that meet up to talk about the other park and i want to cruise the mtn especially runs i groom sometimes to get a feel for the place.

Idk. I know it's nkt but it feels like a big fuck you when you're not sleeping much and working long overnight shifts trying to make the mtn perfect and getting boned.

But glad it's straightened out.

Timberline sent out an email yesterday saying not to line up for tickets or anything super early and what do I see when I pull in prior to 8:00, a line at the lodge. Only parking is limited so we all Gucci. Lines for everything will be short once they open so WTF

Was thinking about some things earlier. The people that akways bitch that being gay doesn't matter and people should stop talking about it.

When you start a new job and you wonder about if you should or just don't say anything about it because you dont want to be treated different and most of all shitty.

Then those people would say "blah blah nobody cares what you do in the bedroom" or as if that's all that being gay is. And those types and people in general will talk about their girlfriends, wives, who they fucked, the girl that walked by etc.(which is all fine) but it's just weird that that's all good but if you're like "Yo dawg im gay" you're making a big deal out of things.

Not hooking up with anyone at home because not great spot for it plus covid rules so that makes it a little easier but kinda weird.

It's more normal if people no from the beginning but weird to bring it up without it sort of coming up in the right topic etc, but if you bring it up right away that's your first impression and you become the gay guy that ______ instead of the oh he happens to be gay. I flew in to SLC to work for a few days and bought an airbag while I was here and the internet said that you could carry it under the plane. NOT TRUE! Friggin talked to a bunch of people trying to figure out a way to ship it to myself and the only way was to get an Uber and go to a fedex to ship it, meanwhile my flight boards in like 20 minutes. The Uber ends up taking me to the fedex freight place instead of a storefront(my fault) and then he had to drive me to the post office RIGHT NEXT TO THE AIRPORT! Friggin cost me 40$ to ship it and another 25 for the uber😡 then I missed my flight! Now I have to get on the later one, now I’m waiting on a curb at the post office for the Uber to go back to the airport.

bought a new tv from Wally world....it shipped from right across town because they wouldn't allow in store pick up for some reason. Get a shipping notification and it says its on the truck for delivery for 5 days. Called ups no idea where it is...called Walmart and they had no idea. Had to get a refund because they were sold out of the TV

Had the longest convo with housing dude and then proceeded to move like 4 museums worth of heavy shit in mostly against my wall. Turned my dry guy on for noise and put earplugs again but still woke up to tires screeching. Ead like da fuck is going on outside but wanted to sleep too bad to move. Could have been anyone but when we left for work his tires were buried 1/3 of the way up. Like dawg if you can't work a level parking spot in some snow maybe you shoukd be working at a mtn.

This is dumb, and I recognize that but still.

My roommate’s dog (Haze) isn’t other dog friendly. He gets along with mine because we introduced him to Neva at 3 months old so he recognizes her as not a threat & has seen her grow up. Whatever, that’s fine. They get along and she's been good for him.
Reese's boyfriend has a dog that Haze likes and that’s cool too, but it’s really frustrating that I can’t have my friend over because he has two dogs and her dog will attack them if he brings them over. He could come without them, but doing dinner and hanging out is easier at his place since we don’t have Haze there. I get that it’s Haze’s house but still— I should be able to ask if they can come over and he stays in his room for a bit. I guess Hayden can come over without his dogs but my dog is friends with them and if we’re working on things it isn’t fair to leave the dogs for a few hours. We detailed our truck two weeks ago and Augie came with and stayed in the garage I went to grab Neva and Haze lunged out the door to attack Auggie.

This is dumb but I’m frustrated that I come home to my roommate’s boyfriend’s dog in the house with no warning but I can’t even ask if she can keep her aggressive dog in her room for an hour or two so I can have a friend over. I’m tired of just going to his place and this it's only fair that he can come over, I don't have anyone else coming to our place.

And yes it is covid, but I’m not going to ditch my backcountry partner, it isn’t fair that my both roommates boyfriends can come over but he can’t.

I'm finally all moved into my new place and trying to fill my room in my old place and I've got so many fucking responses on FB for the listing and I'm overwhelmed as fuck. Like I'm trying to do right by helping to fill the room, but I feel like it shouldn't be my problem at this point. Also my old roommate got Covid (he works at a bar) literally the day before I moved out, and I had to quarantine and miss work because of him, but he literally only quarantined for a day while he had symptoms, and kept going to work and Big Sky after getting the positive test result.

I skied the 102 from my work the other day, I’m pretty sure you can’t hit much terrain in them going over 30mph, super fun for slow and quick turns, was able to even get nice n low and drag the hand each turn, other than that it’s a total dad ski.

Ski season in mi is off to a reall shitty start. Bittersweet opened in November theclast 3 years and have not been able to even turn guns on yet. Forecast looks like it will be another 2 or even 3 weeks just to get one run. Fuck this, cannot wait to move out of this state.

I fucking hate where I live (southcentral pa). We don’t get much early season snow, so my hopes of the local resorts opening on time are getting worse. Meanwhile just about 75 miles west, they got dumped on today. Nothings open yet but i could’ve hit some urban spots. I’d travel, but i still live at home and with school and stuff I can’t just pack up and leave whenever i want. i wanna get the fuck out of here so bad

1 - still don't live in my house. Old news. Whatever.

2 - I wanted to live upstairs and have made that entirely clear for the past year but somehow my sister got it. Whatever, also old news. But today I just found out that we are apparently going 50-50 on the mortgage/rent which is fucking LAWLS because it is actually much bigger up there, quieter and already has overhead lighting. The upper apartments in the area are generally more expensive. When the house was first purchased and I was going to live up there, I said I was going to charge less for the downstairs than I would pay upstairs. I honestly have no idea what happened to where that didn't transition well but here we are.

3 - Sister is downstairs right now, people upstairs are very close to being out. I have to move some of my things to the upstairs, wait for her to get carpets and paint up there, then move her stuff up there and then I can start to move in downstairs. She has lived downstairs for 11.5 months and refused to unpack/move in fully because she wanted the upstairs. Can I please add in I have been waiting 11.5 months to move in without a fucking choice? Sometimes living in a fucking tent when I couldn't find somewhere to stay? She made the fucking choice to not move in and live downstairs. She just haaaad to have the upstairs and now I have to wait another however long so that she isn't inconvenienced by living upstairs and doing her own remodeling at the same time?

3 part 2- I made a comment today about maybe redoing the floors and my parents straight up said that I should wait until I move in...LOL LIKE MY SISTER IS????

4- I moved all my shit in yesterday and then my sister locked the doors so I couldn't access my clothes and shit. I haven't brushed my teeth since yesterday morning and I haven't had clean clothes since yesterday and for whatever fucking reason it's a huge problem that, god forbid I have access to my fucking shit.

I swear to god I've gotten the short end of the stick with this whole fucking house situation and now I'm expected to go half on it? Fuck that shit. The ENTIRE THING started off with me wanting to buy a house and then my dad was like well I'll buy it with you and then you don't have to worry about the down payment and you can get a duplex, get a tenant and split the mortgage. Then the tenant turned into my sister, who is now getting to do whatever she fucking pleases. This was supposed to be primarily my thing and now I've gotten the shit end of the stick this entire fucking time

I have brought all of these things up and genuinely think my requests are pretty reasonable but have been told that "it's terrible" that I even brought it up. So, fuck me. Guess I'm fucking terrible for wanting one fucking thing to go right for me.


OH YEAH, and they want to start the electric in my name for the downstairs starting today when they live down there and I'm literally sleeping in a hotel tonight... like, no you pay for your own fucking shit.

Idk i had one where i owed a chick 175 for months but i tried to meet up with her at the event she never came through then her phone died. My car blew up on the drive home and i was fucked.
