Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

CatdickBojanglesSwitched to a Mac Book Pro for work because I’m tired of windows laptops lasting for a few months and shitting the bed and all I want is my close minimize and maximize buttons to be on the right.



Also pretty sad a 2 year old Mac runs an instance of windows better that most sub $1000 laptops.


What does a 2 year old Mac book pro cost? I'm guessing more than $1000?

I got tired of budget window's laptops a few years ago and went with a mid range machine which has lasted ~4 years so far

I get that I travel around a bunch and I'm willing to drive places, but sometimes it seems like I'm always going to visit people, but nobody wants to come and visit me. I get that I live on the west coast. But even when I'm back east, just meeting up somewhere closer and such.

Idk, I've met up with a ton of people on this road trip. If I didn't get close enough to someone and they didn't get at me and try to make it happen, fuck em.

Honestly can't wait to get out west and get back to work. This covid summer shit is friggin annoying.

Dno if it's the same thing but I googled it and it looked the same. An ex of mine had maybe that and his dermatologist said that wash it with head and shoulders shampoo and that helped.

Packing my car in the rain today. Not suoer stoked on the weather. Hoping it dies off a little bit. Been pissing all day. Leaving the east coast in the morning I think. If weather is nice gonna sneak a skate in on the new park in rochester as well as the diy park farther south. Didn't get to skate it when i was there cause I fucked my foot up at another park the night before.

Luckily shit healed. Idk. Need to power through this road trip but hoping to see a couple friends and skate a few times.

Hoping for a safe journey and I maje a good impression at new job when I get there. I know what Im doing but im always fucked with anxiety. Also been having some weird issues with some numbness and my brain is tweaking a bit some days. Hoping once I get into the groove again at work and get a nice flow going I'll calm down a bit and hopefully all that shit will chill out.

The downside of the move is that I was established enough at previous mtn. Pay was shitty, not too much opportunity, and a lot of drama, but at least being there a while you know the other people, the mechanics, different departments. It's kind of easy to roll with that groove. But new spot seems dope. More opportunity, better pay, cheaper housing etc.


Sometimes I feel like I'm not good at things I'm good at. Also that other people have figure out all out and I haven't sometimes could be truebut generally just my dumb brain getting me worked up about things.

Hoping I can figure out what's wrong with my knee and mayne get that fixed so I can keep riding for a while.


A lot of times I thrive in these situations and the new and unknown helps me grow. But there's never a guarantee that things will work out. That's honestly not a bad thing, but it doesn't really ease the mind.

Hoping I like the setup, can do my job at my full ability levels, meet some cool people and have a great season. Always open to the new place being home. We'll see.

Eh I would but I'm in a little of a rush on the way back out this time. Had some time to fuck around on the way here, but leaving kind of late considering I start on the 20th and if I can get there am supposed to do some shit on the 19th. I just talked to boss and it seems mellow enough where I don't think it'd be a problem if I showed up a couple days late considering driving across country, but trying to get there on or just after that date.

Prolly going to send it to Fort Wayne Indiana stay at a friends, skate quick, send it either straight to denver, or do a night in omaha, spend 1 day in denver, 1 in summit, a couple in tahoe, then roll up north.

I know you don't care about the itinerary I was just thinking up a plan for myself lolol.

We def need to link up soon though.

Probably will cruise from summit straight through to Tahoe. But who knows. Weather, tired, I'll def hit you up if I'm staying there. I usually roll through SLC a few times a year too. Prolly won't bust any ski gear out till I get to washington(car is a tetris shitshow) but might hit a couple skateparks there. SLC has some fun concrete.

School got rid of our winter break, spring break and now we are starting a week EARLY, while the rest of the uni starts a week later to accommodate for no spring break. I think they’re trying to kill us.


Also, they keep changing the fucking schedule and now I have to take a test from 30,000ft or cancel my flight/trip because they wanted to postpone it. Also, I have to call off for the 3rd time this semester because they changed a test to outside of class time. I’m literally losing my mind.

Ill be in denver for a night. Might skate arvada. Same with summit. Gonna keystone a night and skate. Prolly frisco or breck. Maybe silverthorne if frisco busy hours. Then sending er to tahoe. Mtn is opening next week so i gotta get the fuck to WA asap this time. Where in CO are ya. I usually roll through a couple times a year.

You got to get yourself out of the house, you can find time to at least go breath some fresh air. Go skip some rocks across the lake or river, go get your feet muddy. Life is to great to not enjoy those moments.

lol ive heard a ton about this app lately and a lot of it cuz of lockdowns. Like people calling the cops on people for going on a walk with their dog cuz they "look suspicious" or someone working in their yard. People cooped up in their homes for months on end + a people-watching app = bad news lol. theres a FB group for my neighborhood im a part of and it was blowing up last weekend with the snowstorm by Californians who just moved here, bought a house up a dirtroad, and couldn't up the roads and they were freaking out like "why didnt anyone tell us about the winter in the intermountain west????"

Thank God for facetime. If you don't know about it netflix party is really great too. Run facetime and it lets you watch shows in synch. It's nice if you have a show y'all like to watch together.

Couldnt get through CO. 80 shut in Laramie right when i got on.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck.

Missed seeing good friends to go nowhere. Not like i need to start work soon.

Whatever all good. Im gonna still spend a few in tahoe even if i end up late to work. Hoping rest of the roads are clear once this accident gets cleared.
