Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

theabortionatorFounders 15 packs were all on sale. I like all day ippas but trying to get drunk and have a mean toletance so I bought a stout and something else. 15 pack for 16.50 i think. Fucking great deal for them. Then a 6 pack of bells 2 hearted ale because that bear fucks. Tried a single of the double hearted or whatever it was okay but not nearly as good as the normal 2 hearted.

On similar note I saw a great bells selection in denver and they had one that was an offshoot of that with 3.7 alc. Mostly mission to low calories with like 110 but imo theres a massive market for low alc good beer. Ifa place dropped an ipa with 3 ish or less % that tasted good that shit would be huge. Nobody is doing it. All these shake ups in the market and not one good low alc beer. Im not into brewing or id get sendy. A beer that tastes like a beer at 2% would friggin sell for people looking to have a few beer with the boys and then drive.


Come back to NZ :( We have amazing beer!

Stopped trail running for 6 weeks b/c I felt bad going without my dog (she was in heat) and then a fire closed all my favorite trails. Bad move in my part, gained back 10 pounds I lost. Time to hit MTNTOUGH again and trail run about 6 miles a day 🙃 I feel dumb

I picked up a good 10 on the end of my quarantine life in CA but then when I fucked uo my knee and couldn't hike ir skate I devided to put on another 20. The mix of being depressed I couldn't do physical stuff and not getting much exercise took a toll.

Sucks having to lose a good chunk of weight but once zi get back to work this winter I think itll balance out. Also hoping to hike a bunch in NY this next month, and been back on my skatebkard the last week so that feels good.

I need to stop drinking the beers too.

Yeah I did good all through covid and then in like a month and a half got fat. Although at one point I was drinking like 20 craft beers a day. I'm no mathematician, but zi feel like that's a fuck ron of calories, plus shitty flod, and no excercise.

Def feels good to be active. Actually don't feel that unhealthy now which is good, but I could def drop a pound or 20+.

Also, I want to come back. Was thinking if hitting up Tim and seeing if one.of the seasons has good snow and goes deep I could leave the Aussie job and head iver and work for free riding and find a cheap place to kick it or couch surf for a couple of weeks.

I lost 30 pounds over the span of 4/5 months, so gaining it back quickly is making me feel pretty awful. School starting definitely played a role, I always dip into a depressed state so I feel that.

It's nice you're able to skate again, moving feels so good!

I've been trying to drink less, it's crazy how quickly drinking can pack on weight.

I am no math wizard either but 20 craft brews might be 2-4000 calories depending on the brew. They were out of stones at the drugstore which is shot bc it should be orange can season. Switching to lattes

Yeah probably closer to 6k with a lot of beers. That and shit food jesus fuck i cosuming a ton. And not excersing.

Back to drinking a reasonable actually mellow amount of booze and now exercising.


Honesty I look pretty good with a little chub on me though. Def gonna try to get rid of it but if this is the future me it's not so bad.

one of my co-workers almost crushed his leg this morning because his cart's brakes failed and gave out due to the equipment being old and shotty mechanical repairs....Then the mechanic who was responsible for fixing said carts basically claimed that this guy is lying and is full of shit, which my boss absolutely went unglued and told the guy to eat shit and do his fucking job for once, and dont be a racist, cuz hes only blaming it on this one employee cuz he's hispanic. fucking scumbag.

It's funny how people still haven't learned basic concepts taught in preschool such as taking your turn. I went to McDonald's today and they have that two lane drive thru that converges into one. I'm two cars back and the person in my lane is too nice and let's 10 friggin cars through. Meanwhile these other cars are legit speeding up in the drive thru to not let this car in. One after another after another.

The same shit happens in ski lifts.

People are selfish. Grow up.

its not that they didnt learn that, they're just probably narcissists and need to get their way all the time. This whole pandemic has been pretty alarming in terms of how bad peoples mental states are, and how they let it show and let it take control of them. Went to go get beers and a burger with friends a few weeks ago and our local spot requires masks/turns people away without them and this guy barged in to the front of the line without one to scream at a waitress for not having his burger in 5 mins. Our problem is we just give in and cater to assholes like that.

I'm just so done with everything, been working my ass off like crazy to save to move and need a break. I'm just so tired and stressed I don't even know if I want to move where I wanted to. It feels like I'm getting too old to finish my education or change it or start a new one. Thought I wanted to move to Bend and just ski and live life well with more people my age, but now I'm thinking maybe I should move to Anchorage because I found a good flight school specializing in helicopters. Maybe I should do that and then move to Bend when I'm done. Everything is just so up in the air it feels like I can't make any plans and these are things that cost money and need to be planned a little bit.

Also I burnt my finger right over the top knuckle yesterday and I want to be a big baby about it for a minute.

Second wave of covid is starting to ramp up in my city. It's almost worse that people here pretend to comply or enforce new laws. Like fuck, no gatherings over 25 people but they are allowing team sports like basketball and rec league hockey. They say you have to wear a mask into the building, but allow full contact, a full bench, and you don't need to wear a mask while playing. Schools are doing the bare minimum due to a lack of planning, but at least they hired more school nurses to magically cure kids. One kid shows symptoms but it's an 8 hr wait to get tested because 10 schools already have it and everyone and their families lined up at 4 am just to have a chance of getting in. I want to go skiing this year but I'm probably going to be stuck in the backyard. I'm late on beating this dead horse but fuck, just say you don't care for the well-being of your people.

Ordered a new phone cover off ebay a couple weeks ago and thought it said early to mid October but just checked the tracking and it says nov 27. Figures, that's probably the answer to the mystery seeds from china probably Ordered off Amazon like I did, they never showed up and forgot about them then 2 months later they arrive with no labels, mystery solved. I think i have a pic of the 2 i got

SAME. I was down so much just from work(Which was much more physically demanding than previous jobs) and light exercise after. Then I quit to go back to school and the gyms were closed so I spent 12 hours sitting on my ass doing school work 6 days a week and stress eating often. Def the heaviest I’ve ever been lol.

Ugh, I'm sorry. Maybe try purging your house of crappy foods so that the only thing you can stress snack on is at least somewhat healthy? Is your school in-person or online? My job is crazy, so I started just walking or climbing stairs or something during big meetings (which are all now on Zoom) when I wouldn't have to talk a bunch. If you're doing online classes, maybe you can, too?

Our gyms are open here (Alaska), but I had two major surgeries in July which prevented me from lifting for two months, and now I have the worst sinus infection of my life... which is ironic considering one of my surgeries was to reconstruct my septum and entire left nasal canal to help PREVENT these damned things. I'm so tired of getting sick.

This is why I commit to being a ski bum, cause I know I like it and whenever I think of other shit to do with my life I just go back to something with skiing. My coworker and I talked about this today cause we both can’t commit to shit and we both agreed it’s our life for the foreseeable future, lolll.

My cars usually unlocked, I don’t have much to keep in there anyways. I walked out Saturday morning to see my door slightly opened and glove box opened, all they took was a mini stick of deodorant from my center console. My roommate and two others who have been over have had their cars smashed into cause they’re locked, crackheads will be crackheads I’m just waiting to remember to grab something and see one trying to steal shit in person.

My coworker and I talked about this today cause we both can’t commit to shit and we both agreed it’s our life for the foreseeable future, lolll.

i learned a shitload this summer in terms of turf care, machine/equipment operation, and some other things, even asked my bosses about what their degree programs were like, so i might send it on a plant/turf science or soil science degree, maybe even get some equipment operation licenses for the big boy toys. You could easily stay paid here in UT spending summers either being an assistant superintendent or building yards for people.....and yeah, almost guaranteed Dec-March is work-free for you almost.

F that is shit customers service. I have done a lot of phone work over the years and seen that shit go down tho. Also people just not answering the phone in the last few minutes of their shift. F that shit

Oh yeah! It’s crazy. Honestly I almost would have rather left a voicemail. I’m so bad at making phone calls. At least it would have meant they’d call me back. Now I gotta do this shit again tomorrow haha. Actually might change drs though because this is not the first time something like this has happened.

honestly yeah.......there are a lot of great turfgrass programs back east and plenty of job opportunities there too, but soils and plants seem so rad to learn, especially in the west with all the different types of vegetation and kinda different ecosystems. I love UT cuz I can see giant oak trees in salt lake and then giant spruces or aspens up in the mountains. Its gr8.
