I have several good friends that are trans, I'm open to whatever labels people want to attach.

But it's become so damn trendy among younger people. If you're straight etc it's boring. A lot of people that are normal and basic are making a point to be "non conforming" etc. I mean most of them are pretty damn normal(whatever that means).

Shockingly being male or female doesn't dictate everything about a person. There's billions of people. I wouldn't expect everyone to be completely the same as other males or females.

I get what he is saying but I also understand your last paragraph about it shouldn't matter what anyone does. It's the way they were born and if they want to label themselves in a category that's fine and no ones business. On the other hand I think his point is about the people who make it a huge deal so it becomes more than something you don't notice. Always posting. Always talking. People making every other post about this topic always in your face about it. Maybe it's trendy. Maybe they're just able to be more open about it now as you say. One thing is for sure--there will always be attention whores who will do anything to fit in, even if it means lying about something as serious as one's sexuality. I am not one to judge however.

Btw, two of my friends I've known for a decade plus are trans. That's awesome. I support it. One of my really good friends from playing and seeing music is queer, wears make up and sometimes dresses and is one of my favorite people. Runs a community group in a big city doing free or afforable food drives for fresh produce, teaching gardening, proving live music and other stuff. Also I'm gay.

Does any of that mean I know anything or everything about other people? Hell no. Does it mean my opinion is more valid than a persons view of themselves probably not. I'm just saying there is a lot of what I described out there.

Idk. Remember how blue moon beer got popular? It wasn't that it was any better or really any good. They came up with a scheme that an orange brought out the flavors and made it better. Not really, the orange garnish made people different and feel fancy. Oh you drink blue moon? Wow how interesting.

If people feel something that's great. If it changes later that's fine. I'm specifically talking about the people that are bored as hell and jumping on a trend to be different. That's all.

I get it that they both have different policies that we each support or dislike but what has he done that is truly bad? Trump, at the most basic level, is a bad person. He's embarrassed us, put citizens in harms way, cost lives, made a mockery of our government structure, and risked national security to name a few. I guess trump has shown the holes that need fixed in our government by how he exploits them, but imo the bad far outweighs any good he has done.

I really emplore you to give specific examples of actions that biden has done that are comparable. There might be a checkered past but I find it hard to believe it will trump Trumps actions. Again, not arguing but if you're gonna say that, you better come with examples why.
