Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

Idk if it’s just me kinda stressed out lately but it’s never been a problem til the last like 10 days. Even going for a hard bike ride followed by smoking a few bowls can’t cure it, even all weekend it was happening which sucked.

Have you tried strength training? I always found that cardio keeps me up and strength puts me to bed. It's probably stress though

Try taking melatonin gummies 20-30 minutes before you intend to go to sleep. It helps initiate a more “normal” sleep cycle which could help you stay asleep throughout the night.

If you aren’t already, try to get lots of exercise and activity in throughout the day and don’t eat or drink a few hours before bed. This will also help regulate your sleep cycle which will help you stay asleep longer. Or at least minimize the time you are awake.

Sorry, I didn’t read this before responding lol. Herb can do that actually depending on the strain. It might help you fall asleep but it can impair your normal sleep pattern so you don’t end up going through REM/NREM cycles correctly. This would make sense as to why you wake up at 4 consistently. See your doc though to be sure

Melatonin has been a life saver for me. I have clinicals twice a week and they start at 6:45am so I have to go to bed a couple hours earlier but it’s only two days a week so I never get into the habit. I take 5mg of melatonin around 8 or 9 and I am out until morning. If you go that route, just make sure you’re ready to sleep when you take them. I “fought through” the drowsiness one time to watch a show and it was as if I never took them.

$100 to ride the lift up bachelor and zip line down once. not from the summit even. not surprised but I probably would gripe about paying that for 20 summit laps on skis which is probably a hell of a lot more fun

People who can't merge which in varying levels seems to be most people. Had a guy almost drive inti the side if me in a one lane construction zone when he was coming on the on ramp. Luckily i had enough shoulder to avoid. He ended up running into the coned off area.

Idk. Whether people can't or won't merge it's just bullshit.

I wish they'd target that instead of speeding. I dont even speed really but people inability to merge is more dangerous and even when it doesn't cause accidents directly it causes major traffic issues which cause accidents.

Why didn't you let them in?
I agree inability to merge is basically the cause of 90% of traffic but it comes from both sides. Often you see drivers on the highway or main road just try to squeeze people out.

I can't stand people on the highway. They really need to teach this shit better. Literally 9/10 people in my city can't merge for shit. I have merged hundreds of times into roads where cars are traveling 80mph and we are merging at 25mph because the guy in front of me was going that slow. Truly scary and then you gotta change 2-3 lanes to avoid getting smoked by a semi. I usually have to spot a gap in the traffic and merge over the dashed white lines before the actual merge point which is not a comfortable maneuver to make--all because the people in front want to merge at 1/4 the speed limit. Plenty of these people were ones who cut me off to be first on the ramp and then go slow.. . I can't even count how many times I've seen people stop while merging too.

One lane construction zone. Was still 65. Not a crowded highway at all middle of nowhere wyoming. Sorry but if you're coming in and nkt clearly going fast enough to make it in front of me slow down a second and pull in behind me. And i move over for people all the time for them to merge when i go past on ramps.

This guy was totally in the wrong and almost drove into the back if my car. So yeah don't try to say this was my fault.

Also when I merge in I look for a gap, speed up or slow down accordingly and signal to pull in.

So yeah nah, some douche trying to drive into the side of my car in a construction zone without signalling was not in the right...

Yeah its bad. Also the people that ignore every sign about a lane dropping and try to merge at the last minute. Either stop because they cant get in or cut people off, boom traffic jam. Then even.

People get road ragey and merge shitty because they're angry about traffic. But peoples shitty merging cause traffic. Friggin circle jerk of wut logic.

I wanted to get a bike again but prolly never will because people drive so sketchy.

It is what it is. Capping the number of runs you can take this season would suck some serious fucking ass though. Especially after holding out and buying a seasons pass. Resorts should offer a spring pass option if things can get somewhat better by March.

God I'm so fucking stupid. I was so tired this morning I forgot my workout clothes so had to workout in scrubs tonight. Ugh. Brings me back to the days of having to practice lacrosse and baseball in khakis if I forgot my shorts.

I was so tired today 250mg of caffeine only made me feel somewhat back to normal and that's not typical.

I can relate to the frustration. At least it sounds like you own the truck now......... Could be making a payment on it while still having to pay for the repair. Hang in there, it will get better.

Had a 2016 Colorado, very capable truck, owned it for one year and took a bath on it to get back into a Tacoma, it was the right decision.

I had the baby Duramax which drank DEF and didn't return hit for mileage except on long highway trips, had issues with brakes, lighting/electrical, and I couldn't deal with the ergonomics of the cab though that's more of a personal issue or preference.

I really wanted to like it but the issues coupled with the automatic transmission (all Tacos have been manual) just killed it for me.

Now that I sold the Taco and moved I have no idea what I'll do...probably go as long as possible a one car family or if I get into a job where I need a truck again.

Yeah, they wonder why I don’t really drink with them and that’s a reason why lol, college kids I guess. Had worse last year, would have 60 kids here by 10pm and about 20 still at 3am, not gonna have that kinda shit come winter cause last winter was so god damn annoying.

I have several good friends that are trans, I'm open to whatever labels people want to attach.

But it's become so damn trendy among younger people. If you're straight etc it's boring. A lot of people that are normal and basic are making a point to be "non conforming" etc. I mean most of them are pretty damn normal(whatever that means).

Shockingly being male or female doesn't dictate everything about a person. There's billions of people. I wouldn't expect everyone to be completely the same as other males or females.

Idk. This is like the teenage girl deciding shes veggie just to piss her parents off at the dinner table.

People just feel bired being themselves and nkw need to attach extra labels not because thats what they feel, but they think it makes them nore interesting.

As mentioned it is a real thing for a ton of people, but a huge chunk of the new wave of it is bored kids that want to seem more exciting. Do whatever, it's just kind of weird imo.
