I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

MinggI feel like a jerk complaining about it because realistically an A- won’t kill me(it’s actually great but I cant convince myself that it’s good enough for me) but it also sucks to get SO close. And I know a lot of people struggle with school who would kill for an A- or even a B. And I honestly do awful school setting wise, so I get it but also I kind feel like I didn’t do my best. Idk. It’s weird to explain. My friend got an 81 and she was SO stoked just to pass and I was genuinely happy for her and proud of her. I did objectively better but like it wasn’t enough? But I swear like I was genuinely, genuinely happy for her 81. but I can’t be happy about my 95 point something lol Idk. yay perfectionism or whatever this is lol


I'm a super jerk. They ended up dropping some questions and my grade went up so I have an A now lol. I'm so annoying lol. I got a 4.0 this semester and can chill the fuck out.

Nope. My dog actually doesn’t mind them. I still keep music, the a/c and tv on so that he never fully hears it so that it never gets bad where it does scare him.

I don’t mind when they are done as part of actual events but backyard fireworks are fucking dumb. They’re illegal in NY and people don’t fucking think. We live in a relatively wooded area and people are shooting them off in their backyards like we don’t live 150ft away and there are trees everywhere!!! Like I don’t care if you’re out in the middle of nowhere and the only person you’re going to blow up is yourself but don’t do that shit near me. My brother got hit with a firework that a neighbor lit and it fell over and hit him. Shit is not pretty.

also sucks that I am still kinda wrecked from wrecking myself. thought about installing the earthquake strap on my waterheater and I got all the stuff but could not figure out how without getting on my knees so instead wasted an hour and I am hiring someone to do it tomorrow

23 days and I'm friggin out of here.


Sucks knowing that I will 1,000,000,000% not be getting a work visa for Australia with erthang going on but I can't wait to be in my car driving the fuck away from California.

Hopefully I can find a job next season that pays marginally less shitty and apartment I can afford on my own or with 1 roommate tops.

Or who know maybe get lucky with some even mildy decent humans to live with. I don't understand why that's so hard.

also, do u think most university professors like teaching? No they don’t. They want to do their research, which is primarily what they r there for. They are expected to produce, and if they don’t produce anything, they get the boot.

our course had a frost delay this morning but the club didn't move any of the tee times. so i had some group of 5 old dudes teeing off at me on every hole while i was trying to mow collars haha

I don't really get why people clise the lid to the toilet after shitting. It's not like it stops the bathroom from smelling. All it does is leave some lingering smell for later. Maybe that's the goal?

Anyway, in under 2 months this is the second time Ive opened said lid to find the toilet fully stocked with shit. Outside of public bathrooms Ive probably run into this like 5 times ever. 2 times in under 2 months in a bathroom only 2 people share is pretty whack.

I golfed with my homie in Tampa and it wasn’t a crazy slow round but at the end the 4 some holding everything up had some dickhead friend join to play the last few holes as a 5. Behind me and my friend (each our own carts) was a dad playing with his kid but he looked good kinda a single kid was young.



Anyways I call the pro shop to complain about these morons playing as a 5. So they tell them off like 17. On 18 they are looking back at me but I think nothing of it. Apparently one of the psychos wrote something on the divot box by the 18 tee. I’m at the car and my buddies like dude behind us was pissed wtf you write on that tee box. I wish I knew whatever the fuck the guy wrote didn’t see it.

School is crazy. It's not even that difficult really. It's so incredibly disorganized right now because of COVID and I can't keep up with literally searching for the information I need. It honestly feels like a scavenger hunt but you don't have clues, you just keep looking until you find something that might be right and hope it's right and if you're lucky you get by.

On the bright side I was the only one in my group to draw blood today, everyone else missed. So I'm not a total failure. But my professor did say "What you are doing...?" and I was like, I don't know and it irritated her so much. I don't know. It was literally our FIRST day on campus after doing 6 weeks online. There was a zoom meeting on the board and an instructor in another room demonstrating so I'm trying to keep up with the screen and do the things and not stick myself with a needle and I'm sorry, I got behind and had NO damn clue what I was doing because it was the first time I ever held a butterfly needle in my hands.

In 9 hours we learned how to pass meds, draw/administer every type of injection, venipuncture for blood draws and to start an IV, manage IV's, use an electronic health record and learn finger sticks. This stuff is normally learned over 15 weeks and they fucking did it all in one sitting because the state won't let us do weekly labs.

All 55 of us are in a groupchat and we all felt defeated as fuck walking out of there. We have to test out of it next week and we aren't allowed on campus until then so basically we have a half-ass instruction day, do these skills once and then have to test out on them loooool okay.

He doesn't really budge much and when he has too, he just complains to the head superintendent about it and tries to get people fired. Then he just doubles-down on mornings when it is safe to send people out early and puts all the fast groups first. Hes a total hoser.

Just trying to get on something soon, just need a decent paying job til November when hopefully my work at the resort will be able to open if ski season happens. Rona definitely makes it tricky though, makes sense he’s holding out for others to come back.
