I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

What a shit sandwhich things are rn.

I saw a lot of threads on twitter asking for the anti lockdown protestors to sign away their rights of medical care if they got covid-19 while at the protest. I don't think asking the same would go over too well right now. Also wondering why doctors and nurses aren't blocking the protests right now like they were at the anti lockdown protests. Covid can't spread if you are protesting for the right thing so it seems. Then again I'm also a covid skeptic so I say let them have at it. But I just want someone to acknowledge this fact.

SnowshoeThompsonI’ve been waiting for California unemployment for 3 months now after being laid off due to covid and attempting to pursue a trade school. Just found out I have to completely restart my application process and mail them another identification confirmation letter. Best case scenario won’t see a dime for another 6 weeks.

Pretty much zorched my savings thinking I could rebound off my guvment money but yeah right. I think they knew I’m a Republican and are just fucking with me at this point.

So ready for this election to be over. Honestly don’t care who wins at this point; I’m just tired of defending my stance. regardless, I’m moving To eastern Nevada and will spend my time skiing the Ruby’s, drinking whiskey, whittling small sticks and fly fishing.

Well to a point protestors have a right to do so, however I can’t imagine gathering with 10+ people just socially is cool yet in most places, let alone thousands now. I only see the reason for closure is lack of medical resources but otherwise fishing out on a boat is pretty fucking safe thing to do.

But seriously. And this drink was poured at like 6 pm. Not even late. What a waste. Maybe ill just drink it but it makes me mad thinking about it.

Wasn't expensive but it's pretty good and i dont have more.

I get beer more because you crack one and that's that. But even that sucks. But come on. It's liquor. Pour however much you want. Don't pour a huge drink and then not touch it. That's bullshit.

Its a very rare occurrence the boats get within six feelt of each other unless its just before a collision and the boat ramps the only time your within six feet of someone is passing someone on the dock wich doesn't happen everyday

Uhhhh yeah not sure if this new management should have taken on this golf course and resort venture. No one could have planned for a pandemic at all so you have to give people credit and be understanding all the time but yeah, this new management just doesnt get it at all. Like we dont even have a mechanic on-staff nor a plan to hire one to fix the most basic stuff down to a shovel head or grip or anything; Every single one of our tools is broke or about to break, equipment and machines breaking down left and right, not maintained/cleaned, years worth of maintenance crews that didnt give a shit so the scars are almost permanent on the equipment and the course, tons of more extra work to do cuz of it, etc. We have a lease on all of our Jacobsen mowers and vehicles which means that shit should be covered under warranty but its so far gone and late now that even returning mowers to get fixed or replaced would put us without a mower for a season which is a shame.

Management knows how bad it is; They have bigger fish to fry right now and yeah we're not the priority but I dont think course crew is gonna be valued at any point during their tenure. Its gonna get to a point this year that we simply cant get work done cuz no machines work

Was stoked friend offered me some trim work. I just wanted to get away. But new roommie who was annoying af when drunk doing the

"OMG I want things to impact me. Omg look at this thing that happened next to my home town. I'm so excited to have something to complain and pretend to be hurt by" thing.

I sat outside under the edge of the deck last night to get away, ate some mushrooms and played my guitar till 130am agter everyone had gone to bed.

Anyway when friend stopped by and mentioned he had talked to dude about trim work and roommate was there.

Most of the reason I wanted to trim was to get the fuck away from my roommates. Trimming would be perfect. I'm wasn't gonna sit in a trim room with her all day though. I think my brain would have melted down. So basically lost that work until at least she gets bored of it or whatever.

I think along the way or especially when I get back east I'm going to dip into the woods for a few days or more and camp. Bring some weed, some mushrooms, booze, and my guitar and just chill in the mtns for a bit. Might even do some bigger multi day hijes. I def like to keep moving.


On the plus I'm healthy enough although still don't have health insurance etc.

I've got my guitar which I livem thing doesnt stay in tune that well but learning this and tjust being able to do someting constructive and exciting on my own has been dope.

I've got the mini ramp which has been fun as hell to get better at skating.

My laptop that I custom ordered finslly shipped out 10 days early actually and should be here in the next 2 days.

And I plan on leaving my apartment the 1st if August which will be great for me. Only 2 more months now. I like to wander, I'm constantly moving. The idea of home doesn't exist for me right now. That sounds cheesy but I've had 4-6 months where I still had most of my stuff in a suitcase.

I spend half my year in the southern hem. And do 2 big road trips eaxh year acriss the states plus a random trip sometimes. Being locked down with people has been fucking terrible for me. Terrible. Especially people I've been having issues with way before this.

I guess if anything this might make me more of a gypsy hermit in the future which isn't that bad. I just want to start traveling again.

Also picking up skating and the guitar could make that fun. I may get a travel sized guitar and start bringing my skateboard and guitar with me.

Idk. I'm over being stuck in this spot, and super fucking over the people I'm with.

But I'm not dead, ive actually done iver a month of quarantine sober. Ive got music skating, i got out of crippling debt this spring from my csr issues last year.

I just want to mive on with life in the physical and metaphorical sense and be done with this. Can't wait to see some friends, do some camping, hiking adventures etc. Hoping this is my best road trip yet.

I can't wait to have a friggin keyboard again. I'm feeling thing and wanting to write things. Gonna be pumping out some articles for better or worse and probably writing 10times as much bs in here. New laptop should be here in the next few days.

Words are good. Love having creative outlets. I miss building shit out of snow but writing always helps keep me sane. I know I'm all over the place and my posts and probably even articles are somewhat crazy but that's my outlet. I type things that I feel and release some if the stress that's attached. Never been in a realtionship but jesus i wouldn't wanna listen to me bitch about any of this stuff lol. So I type my little heart away with whatever's on my mind and just send it. Most if the posts not really made to be read, def nothing spellchecked or even reread just shit from the heart. From reading the thread over the years it seems like other people dabble in the same. Congrats for pouring your heart out to weird strangers on the internet and hope its helped.

But a new laptop, my guitar and my mini ramp..i think ill be okay. I fucking hate everyone and can't wait to road teip out of here but otherwise all is well.

Fuck I hate being bored. If I cant travel I just wanna build someone a ramp or weld them a rail. Spread the stoke and keep from being bored. Idk i just need to build shit. Always been somethint I had to do since I was building the sketchiest evil knievel bike jumps off my parents picnic table with pallets and cinder blocks.

Idk i just wanna build shit that gets people skiing or skating if you're around tahoe and want a ramp hit me up. Also gonna be selling my mini in 2 months. Or if you're back east and want a steel rail for summer #grindbarfactory might come out of retirement. Pretty much buy materials and enough beer to drink and Ill build it for free. Getting people riding quality shit is worth it. Ill be back in the northeast in 2 or 3 months..

Roommate was mentioning sweeping and mopping more to keep things clean.

Im totally okay with that but ai stopped because i was coming in, taking my ahoes off and not dragging shit in not dumping things on floor, but she had constant traffic through all the time, coulding and knocking sit on the floor people in and out woth shoes. It wasn't worth it.

Anyway mentioned that i was aweeping and mopping regularly and got the eye roll. Like bitch even when new roommie moved in and we were gonna split it all 2 weeks ago I swept mopped and vaccumed. I was sweeping and mopping twice a week and vaccuming prolly ones a week untill march.

To be fair she's sweeping way more often than Ive ever seen her but I hate that it's like"I never did it begore but now I do it ao fuxk everyone" mentality.

Bitch I swept all the time and nobody gave a fuxk, tour friends track in mad shit while drinking all my booze etc. Just cause you suddenly care now doesn't mean I havent been putting in effort and doesnt mean it matters more.

I hate selfish people like that. They couod dump pain on your car "oh woops sbit happens" but if you drop a flake of hot sauce on their shoe or something they care about the world ends.

Everything is two faced. If i care about it mayyers, if i dont care it doesnt matter. Thats such a bsckwards ass mentslity if you're going to live woth people.

And fuck once again.

I paid 125 for snow removal, roommie rip paid 125. Downstairs neighbor who doesnt have a car and is supposed to be her friend paid 250. Roommie paid 0. Thats bullshit. Also her and her bf have 3 cars her 100% of the time. We dont have a huge driveway.

Also her telling roommate rip that he could hang certain posters because she didnt like them. Ultimate bitch move. Sucks he was too nice to girls to tell her to get fucked.

Also she just decided to post picture of herself and friends. Like shitty bar club ones. All over the fridge. I dont care that much but like dude can't hang posters even though you have mad posters, and then you can just tske over the fridge with shitty pics.


Might just start posting shitty pics of me in there without asking.

Idk two face status and entitlement grind my gears. If people are that fucked they should live alone and do their own thing.

I tested negative for COVID antibodies. No big deal. Probably a bad test. For work I needed titers to prove immunity even though I had vaccines. Despite being fully vaccinated I have NO antibodies and thus and not immune to anything. My body does not produce memory cells.

I still fight off infection but I could contract anything despite being vaccinated. I just switched facilities at work and I’m not cleared to work and may never be cleared to work in healthcare. So, there’s that. Hopefully not but I immediately think worst case scenario and honestly this would just about be the icing on the cake.

Not for COVID but the other tigers have a better accuracy and the fact that I have none for anything (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, etc) they’re pretty certain. I have to follow up though to make sure. The nurse probably shouldn’t have used the term immunocompromised if they weren’t sure so I’m a little worried but also amused.

God I can't stand incompetent people. Just got rebilled for the MRI I was already billed for in February. Messaged billing and they ignore that part and start talking about some other bill that was the radiology bill. No shit I see that. F man. Somehow it is snowing in the passes here though and it is June so there is that. Otherwise though I hear you my situation just seems to go on and on since May last year like a bad country song and corona was just another verse.
