I mean, I get it. My county (and probably town) has the most cases in MT right now. Still annoying. We're pretty sure I had it last month. Weirdest flu/cols I've ever had, all my flu tests came up negative but they weren't testing younger adults at that time. I'm trying to go even for a shirt walk and that seems to be helping. That sounds too sketch to get food from.

My cough was horrible and pretty painful b/c I have asthma so it's already hard enough to breathe. The fever wasn't too bad, just kinda annoying. I felt really heavy in my bones, kinda like the flu you know? It took me about three weeks to actually feel better.

DeebieSkeebiesstuck in a rural area myself with similar orders in terms of "stay at home" and while yeah it does fucking suck, i think that areas like this taking the same drastic measures as cities are will really keep those numbers down, like Utah as a whole, if we keep doing a good job with the social distancing stuff, wont have as many casualties as they once projected with how bad its getting, so thats good. NYC is a good example of what happens when it gets bad and how quickly it happens because they began their social distancing stuff way too late

Yeah. Been having exactly this internal conversation. Like, it really doesn't feel worth it in the moment. I just want to hang out with all my buds. And my work has been affected massively by this thing, so I'm a little desperate for things to open back up so I can make some money again.

I've had good luck with bank of America. Just personal experience. And it's national so with traveling a lot I can find them everywhere. I've never had any big issues, and have had some massive issues with some of the smaller banks in places I lived.

I've had an account with BOA since 2014. Online banking on the app is seamless for me.

Second, I was planning on going one of my off days this week to hike at a decent state nature preserve. Checked their site and it's closed. Fuck. I get it, but still sucks because no one knows about the place and I've maybe seen 10 people in the 3 full days of hiking when I've been there. So kinda bummed that people irresponsibly crowding parks ruined it for everyone. The national parks are probably packed so probably will avoid. Guess I'll just cut the grass and clean my house :/

I think that ive become addicted to become satisfied with food, rather than just eating. Quarantine just makes me eat and eat, i really hate getting bloated this often.

The department of health cleared me to start today but I wasn't added to the schedule, so tomorrow is supposed to be my first day back and she has the nerve to be like "well this email says you should have worked yesterday," and I'm just like uhhhh well the department of health extended my isolation because I have shortness of breath? So like, can't? It's kind of up to them. And I called Friday to tell them that it was extended but nothing happened with that so whatever. I was told they were gonna tell you but they didn't so I hope I'm not in trouble for attempting to follow the mixed messages from you people. Suddenly dreading going back to work tomorrow.

LOL right? Well to be fair, I got cleared by the company to come back Sunday because my test was friday and I had to wait a week. BUT the health department considered my isolation start date as Sunday PM(because I had to work while waiting for the results so I was technically last exposed at the end of my shift) so they wanted me to be isolated for 7 days from that point. So I would go back Monday. The thing is, I was told to call my company to get cleared but this was before the health department made any mention of clearance. So I did get cleared and planned on going back Sunday. But then Saturday when I told my nurse that I was going back she told me I was not cleared until Sunday PM/Monday AM. So I called my company's health line and no one was there. I left a message. But I also called the supervisor who was on Saturday to let her know the date changed per the health department and she said she would take care of it. But clearly that did not occur. So like yeah the company cleared me but I should have been cleared by the health department first and then sought out clearance from my company but I was not directed to do that and it made things rather complicated. So I hope I'm not in trouble but also following directions from 2 sources that aren't in communication is not fantastic.

Idk I'm more mad that I tried to do the right thing. Clearly I've never done this before so I don't know the exact process so I was just doing what I was told and then to get a rather passive aggressive call implying that I didn't come back when I should have is super shitty. I'm just trying to not get fined/jailed/someone sick because I fucking can if I leave my house before I'm allowed to and/or for reasons I'm not authorized for. So sorry for taking it seriously. I'd love to be back to work(well not anymore actually) but I'm not going to push it.

Splurged and purchased a new Prana yoga mat which came in the mail today. My mom tried to open it without me asking and used scissors and put a hole in it... I haven't even used it and it's damaged... I know this is a first world problem that seems ridiculous but Prana mats are expensive, and I wanted to treat myself to something nice. I'm irritated as heck.

Ugh. Walked to the beach today earlier. On the walk back turned the corner to our street and roommates bf's van was there. I was like FUCK FUCK FUCK, even before even seeing them. Obviously knowing they were going to come back eventually just not when. It's been nice to have 3 days of peace and quiet. Very laid back and casual. I did the last 5 day sober. Would do longer but I don't think I can take sobriety with my roommate and her bf being back.

My usual gripe of feeling like a guest in someone else's house is back like usual. You know the people that kind of starfish for space and take up the whole bed, it's like that. And I don't mind noise and stuff, but there needs to be a balance. There's legit never quiet unless they're sleeping. I actually fucked my whole sleep schedule up to go to sleep around 5 AM, just so I could avoid them for a few house, either watch a movie or just sit in fucking quiet.

I mean it sucks, I'm stuck here all the time pretty much as well, the thing is, I at least went places pre corona. I had a full time job, skied a bunch, etc. Her life hasn't changed much. She worked from home, and not in an office space, just in the living room. So she was always here, always playing edm, always there.

I drove to Livingston to pick up a dog harness I lost at the river b/c my friend moves Wednesday and he was SUPPOSED to get it tonight but instead he’s getting it tomorrow and I’m pretty mad and sad. He needs to move, say goodbye, and get his dog’s stuff. I offered to drop it off at his place too, but nope. Living in a college town sucks because friends move away frequently.

And who knows if I get further repercussions. I work for the uni, and being a TA with academic dishonesty on the record doesn't look good.

Different situation of course but just so stupid to not consider teachers look out for that shit.

If it were my uni you could get it reviewed and with a stat dec saying you had no idea and were not cheating and one from your mate saying the circumstances you should be able to get it struck off. Do you have screenshots of the messages where your mate asked for help and why you sent it?

As a TA you should have some connections in the faculty yeah? Could you leverage them to get a meeting wtih someone higher up and provide them evidence so they can bat for you? That's so shitty. People suck.

We lost 3 more patients over the past day. Two of them were on my assignment. I'm getting accustomed to seeing the funeral homes taking bodies out in body bags. They cover them up with a really nice covering so it's not just like the body bag so it's not super bad. The loading area is right outside the window at the end of my hall. So I see pretty much all of them leave.

The funeral home people can't enter the building (fair) so we have to prepare the bodies. And by that I mean, put them into a body bag, load them onto a gurney and wheel them out. But today I learned that we have to soak a washcloth in alcohol and place it over our deceased patient's faces and throw a show cap over to hold it all in.... I know they are already dead but they're still humans and I don't feel like any of that is dignified. I know it has to be done to keep the funeral home people safe. I get it. But it's horrifying to put a body in a body bag, let alone with a shower cap and soaked alcohol cloth over their face. Honestly was just beginning to feel numb to this whole situation but that was fucking traumatizing. I almost passed out.

Pretty much what mine says as well. While I was deceived I can't really get out of it, as what I did was outlined in the codebook.

Sucks because it happens literally all the time. Like every student I know does it and the professors all know it....they don't care and turn an eye until something like this happens.

I just can't comprehend how on Earth he thought he wouldn't get caught doing it. Like it's word for word ....did he think a professor in a master's program wasn't going to read through it? He is one of the most thorough grading professors I've had.


The professor understands what happened as we both explained, but his hands are tied pretty much. Sucks, but I'm still at uni so I guess that's good.

Aight I will. My company is going through Techstars, an accelerator. We’re deciding whether to launch a new product into the market that is a dating keyboard bot that works on all dating apps and over text. I realize it’s ethically questionable, it puts words in people’s mouths, and that’s why we want beta users to help is better understand the ethics of it better. problem? I don’t know how in the dick to get beta users. How do people get consumer products off the ground? where do you find people after your friends are tired of hearing “try this new thing I built?”
