Roommates boyfriend basically lives here now. Well now as in for the whole season almost. She can make a person feel like a 3rd wheel even when it's just too people but at a time when you literally are stuck at home itd be cool if the place im paying rent for felt like home.

Cool guy but damn. 5 or 6 days a week from right after work till morning then like thursday through monday morning.

And she doesn't leave so he doesn't leave. I wish she'd go down there. I think shes gone like twice and he drove one of the times, and they still ended up back here. Maybe shes gone a few more but under 5 days if not 2 or 3.

It's cool having roommates so tou see humans sonetimes when you work nights but I'm pretty over it.

People will always disagree and stuff im realistic but this is a bit too far.

Her friends that came up to ski from fucking san fransisco where everything was just going on lock down were sorta taking the place over too. I let dude sleep in on couch late af without making noise. They coulda shared the spare room but didnt wanna. Whatever. But found out i had no job that night and was gonna party a bit. They were mad trying to sleep on couch because i was raging 10 feet away bumping music(not even loud) and talking to my friend and drinking and shit. I was like fuck off. Im way too easy going sometimes. Ive been better about saying fuck you deal with it. Even last night was playing my drum for a while at midnight listening to music. Roommate was sleeping and it woke her up. Fuck her, get a noiise machine. That was her response to partying here all the time when i need to sleep.

People are fucked and will walk all over people if you let them. It's pretty shitty. I hate having to feel like tou haveto be aggressive/abrasive to keep your space but it's the only way.

I guess finding a decent human for a roommate would be sweet. But I doubt that would ever happen.

Second weekend in a row pow fever rules over all. Everyone form the bay is back in town. Not sure what part of "stay the fuck home" or at least stay local people are missing. The snow isn't even that good right now, people are just trying to get turns in because they can't. Fuck off and stay home.

I bitched at that shylo guy in an email. Pretty shitty to tell people their checks are their to pick up, and have them come over multiple times for checks that aren't there at a time when people aren't supposed to leave home unless they have to.

Seems like it puts us, other people actually getying a check, and the people working the center at more risk.

I get the reasons they do last check paper, but seems like they could have done direct deposit for people this year. I mean they were closing the resorts a week ago, im sure theyd been tslking about it for a few days, and monitoring the situstion for longer. Idk how logistically complicated it would have been, but seems like paying people to the same account they've gotten every other check to this season would have been pretty doable in that time.

I've defended them on a bunch of stuff including the parking, because most of the "bail on vail"folks are down with the corporations type kooks. Idk. If I'm gonna ever work for a big corp again it's be aspen ski co. Honestly the parks there seem to be more consistent and bmilk is in much better shape than when I worked there.

I'm hoping to work at sugar bowl or homewood if I stay in tahoe. Maybe Seirra. Actually lucked out that I didn't make the switch(was about to) because I would have missed that week of pay, and only worked there like a day or two before they shut.

If anyone is considering working for vail, in a skilled profession or even as a lift attendant, please think it through. It’s one thing to not like downsizing of parks or the price of amenities/parking/tickets. It’s when a company throws out their HR department and shines a blind eye at not being able to pay their employees regularly for hours that were already earned. This is when maybe you should get a clue and invest your time/skill somewhere else.

You gotta love the "Oh sure we'll just give you a million hours on one check, NBD" vibes. And that's after you talk to your department heads, other department heads, employee center, scavenger hunt for other people, email people that probably don't exist, call broomfield CO(hr isn't even at the mtn for anyone wondering) and probably repeat the process 12 times all while working full time over night and getting bitched at about efficiency by some of the least efficient people in the world. All so Rob can buy more food for his god damned cats.

Oh the joys. Happy I got 3 years in. And thanks to the shutdown, I actually made it to the end of the season without quitting.

Yeah, shit happens and just like jobs, there's always next time, and the hope it's a better situation. I think I'm going for a studio after this. Even a small ghetto one that's barely habitable. Being around people is cool, I kinda dig having roomates, I've just stuck out enough that it's worth pulling the plug.

Also I have nothing against relationships, but that brings a different dynamic, especially if the other person is always around. Oh well, such is life.

Hiked up the resort and couldn't see hardly anything when I was looking at the snow, thinking my cheap sun glasses damaged my eyes the other day and got some form of snow blindness today. Bringing my goggles next time.

Roommates blasting some shitty dj in the living room but at least we got tiny chat squad going right now. I guess it doesn't change much, she was always home before. I like how she was bitching at her boyfriend about fixing her car yesterday. Like first there's nowhere to really go, and second when there was she was home 24/7 in the living room bumping edm music.

I guess not much has changed, but not stoked to be stuck at home and unable to get the fuck away really anywhere other than some hiking and stuff. Funny that she complained about being locked down though. The only thing that's different as that she can't have a bunch of people over so that's chill.

God fucking dammit I'm so stressed right now. Since graduating I have been working at a company where I design and fabricate heating systems and typically I do not take on the installation part of that but my boss wanted me to get that experience so for the past few weeks I have been driving an hour out of town almost every day to do this project. I helped our service tech on an installation this past summer to get some experience but was basically just an extra set of hands for the job. So now that I've seen it done once my boss expects me to know how to do this shit on my own with my co-worker who has even less experience with this stuff and no engineering background or anything. This could have been done in a few days if I had someone to help me who has experience and familiarity with the equipment but I have spent about 8 days on it now. All the while the homeowner is watching over my shoulder at me stumbling through this and apparently figuring it out as I go and it is just a really unprofessional look and it is making me stressed as fuck. On Friday I was hoping to finish everything up and get the boiler started and my boss had told me that he was going to come along to help for this critical step. But then in the morning he doesn't show up to the shop until 11 am, it's a really small company and I have to wait for him to show up so that there is someone in the office to answer the phones and be there to drive the forklift for shipping pickups and such. So then he decides to stay behind so that there is someone to drive the forklift for the shipment that the production manager scheduled so once again myself and the production manager go off to stumble through and try to get done what we can with our limited experience. Every single day we have had to wait for my boss to show up to even consider leaving the shop so we are already limited in the amount of work that we can get done in a day and in addition we aren't allowed to take overtime. Then on Friday pretty much everything that could have gone wrong did, dumped about 5 gallons of water in the crawlspace because of a leak (at least that wasn't my fault, the plumber forgot to make one single connection in his installation) and had to clean that up, a transfer pump used for filling the system burned out and my boss didn't give me the battery for the backup one so I could only use that until it died, I sprayed antifreeze all over the ground because I tripped over a bucket in the tiny mechanical room, I couldn't even get the boiler started for a few hours because I couldn't find the power switch and the installation manual was horrible, then once I did get it started I was forced to continue to fill the system with no idea of the concentration of the antifreeze mixture, and then to top it all off at the end of the day when I was exhausted and sore and cleaning up I hit my head on a sharp metal corner really hard and then touched a live wire and mildly electrocuted my hand. So now I have to go back again any try to finish but I know I'm gonna hit more setbacks because of my lack of experience. And now there is this pressure to finish because this old couple who are building the house want to get moved in and hide away from the impending pandemic that hasn't quite blown up in SW Montana yet but there are still so many minor details to finish. I'm freaking the fuck out and hardly getting any sleep but I any time I ask my boss for help he either sees it as me being incompetent, despite not having a foundation of experience to form competence, or he just straight up finds a way to weasel out of helping. And then the cherry on top of Friday's shitshow, we pulled back into the shop to see that the shipment that my boss stayed behind for so that he could operate the forklift and get it loaded on the truck was still sitting in the shop, so he wasn't even in the shop for the singe task that he said he would do. And I also have very little confidence that when shit hits the fan here with the coronavirus my boss will make the call to shut down the shop when necessary, and I'm stressed the fuck out because everyone else in the company is pretty old so if it makes it to us shit could go real bad, and for all I know any one of us could already have it.

Alright, so that appointment that I showed up for but the doctor wasn’t there last week, yeah that was rescheduled to today. I showed up. No ones there. I’m 100% done with this place. I get that you have to cancel and shut down but fucking let your patients know!!!! Ugh. I’m so frustrated. Luckily it was next to a grocery store so the drive wasn’t for nothing.

Told the wait time would be long as expected, keep processing it, entering information. Then told that now they were currently closed.
