Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

Generally it's less about what they ride and building skill and style of building. There are generally more snowboard on park crews but that doesn't mean they're building things because they're snowboarders.

Hell people would call side entry/urban lips "snowboard style" at one point.

If there's an issue approach them nicely. Don't be a dick, don't rant. Some places simply don't know. Maybe tell them some of the things you like.

Also be stoked you have a park and a park crew.

If park really sucks balls and park crew are lazy fucking snowboarders, get yourself a jerb and fix shit from the inside.

It was 100/gram in Stowe the other week I said FUCK that when I heard that. Shouldn’t be being close to Canada and everything.


bgillis move there not to sell blow but because everyone doing the ski local thing has a good setup wasn’t broke went home with a couple hundo at least per day had a decent place to live. Towns fun mountains good I’m sure you could transfer. This girl who hosted us got a free big ass condo because there was a leak in her bedroom that landlord was def cool.

all the guys on park crew are super chill it’s just annoying the way they set up the park. They do a good job with the setups and enough people hop off the lips to wear em down so it gets fixed eventually

Backstory: My dad bought a duplex for my sister and I so my niece would be able to go to a better school in an area my sister couldn't normally afford. We are paying him rent and essentially he wants this to be either mine or my sister's property in several years. The current tenants were fucked over by their previous landlord/owner that we bought from and my dad is their current landlord.

Current situation: Apparently my dad thinks it is realistic for the current tenants to move out(upstairs), my sister move from downstairs to upstairs, my boyfriend and I move out of our current place and clean/repair current apartment all in one day. It is also a day that I have an exam.
My sister also is adamant about living upstairs (where the current tenants live) even though she is fully moved into the downstairs. So now I have to wait for the people to get out so that she can clean and move up there and then I can move in. ALL ON ONE FUCKING DAY. THERE IS NO FUCKING WAY!

That's assuming these people leave - because they really do not want to due to the fact that they signed a long term lease about 3 weeks before the house was sold to us. Apparently no one made them aware the house was for sale. Which is shitty but not our fault but I would not be surprised if they throw a hissy fit.
We also found out they have cats(again owner told us it was a no pet/smoke free house) and I am extremely allergic. So all the carpets need to be replaced ASAP. That obviously can't be done in a day but I really don't know what I'm going to do. I spent an hour at my cousins and had to leave because I couldn't breathe - her cat died 3 years ago. Let alone 3 of them living there for 10+ years.

what the actual fuck? Lmao. What happens if I wanted a full pair mounted? Are they gonna charge $150? Get outta here 😂

My grandfather is in the hospital because he's had a heart attack and is now getting a triple bypass surgery, I miss driving and wrenching on my broken truck, I've stopped eating and most of my roommates are assholes. ive just stopped giving a shit and its pissing me off

ive been trying to eat. had some taco time today and some tortellini yesterday which was pretty bomb. Every time I go to eat something though I get sick to my stomach

love supporting local shops in my area but yeah, some of their prices for simple ski repairs and work that youre unable to do yourself is annoying, im happy to get deals at a shop through work and always try to take care of the shop techs with tip money or beer but yeah, its annoying trying to get some work done through shops that are in full blown peak season "price gouge tourists" mode.

Idiot roommate got back at 1:00 am last night, racked up a huge bar tab and had some buddy come bail him out because he couldn't pay it (he exploits people like this frequently). Then they come home and have a loud drunken heart to heart until 2:00 am, and the idiot roommate is all like "I'm not a fag but I'm here for you." Caring for another man doesn't imply homosexuality, nor is there anything wrong with homosexuality. Homophobically hedging like that perpetuates the incredibly unhealthy societal nonacceptance of platonic intimacy among men. Just irks the fuck out of me when this guy says the word fag pejoratively.

All this pisses me off because I was busting ass on school stuff until 11 and had early classes the next morning and then was unable to fall asleep. I eventually drift off and sleep through my alarm, miss my first class where nothing was due but it's an important class, then fucking rush to the next class, get there five minutes late, and I'm unable to turn in an assignment due right when class starts. It was trivial assignment but I'm still pissed. My roommates act like god damn clowns pissing away their parents' money with beer and weed and by failing at least one class every semester and doing poorly in the rest. When I get back from studying/doing homework the other roommate smugly says "Another day in the books?" as if he's slick for sitting on the couch all the time taking bong rips and binge watching shitty shows. I mean, I like weed and beer too, but I'm definitely not hellbent on trying to fill my personal voids with them. On the same day this guy also got piss drunk up at Bridger and drove back into town, what a clown ass move. This guy is on probation too. I thought my roommates were chill at first but they're just obnoxious losers who I can't currently see doing anything satisfactory with their lives. Rant.

My roommates are decent students but usually on nights when I work at 8am or wake up early for pow/touring they’ll still be fucking loud on Monday nights even. Usually will be respectful if I ask em to shut up but one of em is loud in general and then drunk can be very loud.

Its just how it is for some of us sometimes. Your mind and heart are in the right places even if it doesnt spell total academic success, youll find progress in other ways.

Just lost my best fucking friend because I got in a fight with a mysognistic arsehole about climate change. This guy literally calimed that because he hired a chick with 'great tits' he wasn't mysognistic. I had a big fight about him about climate change where he literally shhhh'd me when I tried to give my opinion (even though I work in renewable energy) and listened to my boyfriend who has no education in this area. But my position is includes a very minor disagreement in policy (not that climate chane isn't real) and she had a hue panic attack and fucked off 'due to people fighting and my position'. Totally fine for the mysognisitic arsehole to drive her where she needs to be in the morning but fuck me because we had a minor poliy disagreement?!

Super promising. I just watched my pharmacology lecture, took notes, reviewed, etc. Not difficult material especially for an intro class and the very first lecture. I go to take the quiz and literally not one thing was in the notes nor included in the lecture. I know this because I wrote down the terms/concepts asked on the quiz and rewatched the lecture and they are not mentioned lol. I also used the search feature for the powerpoints (after manually going through and reviewing them - NOTHING.) There is also no text book recommended. There is no online modules where any of this shit could have came from!

He asked the relevance of EC50 - but in lecture referred to it as ED50. But without clarification is it unfair to think those are two different things? I mean COX-1 and COX-2 are very different. You can't just change a letter! Unless it's stated as being synonymous I don't think you can fairly assume they are.

Also was asked "which of the following does metabolism NOT affect?" - literally never talked about this. Which is fine. I mean, I figured it out but only with information I learned in other classes and even then it was a stretch to apply it to this. Maybe that was the point? I'd have a firmer maybe if we reviewed drug metabolism to any degree but we didn't.

I have a 3.9 GPA. I have no problem with difficult material and having to use your brain to get to the answer - but don't pull this shit out of nowhere and expect us to know it. If it came from a book, great. Let me use the book so I can learn this stuff more thoroughly. Better yet, if you want this to be a strict lecture only class - include what you want us to know in...i don't know, the lecture??

That said, I got a 100% but have no idea how the lecture material related to this quiz. Which scares me for the exam in which I'll be going in blind.

I made plans with a friends for 7:00 at specs.

At 6 she’s texts me that there’s a change of plans, what’s 6:30 at old Chicago and invited three other girls to come with. Apparently they wanted the change.

that doesn’t work for me:
1. Department meeting until 6
2. Picking up my dog for the weekend
3. I had told her I planned on drinking so I wanted to go somewhere I could walk, now I have to drive so I can’t drink.

4. I canceled plans with a guy tonight for tomorrow to hang with her.

I feel like shot that our fun plans were changed for a bunch of girls I don’t know to a place that isn’t our spot at a tome that doesn’t work for me. I opted not to meet them there because I don’t want food and don’t want to pay for pricy drinks. This so stupid.

Well my fckig laptop tipped over the other day in class and fell maybe 3 inches. Somehow cracked some part in it and now the whole fucking keyboard is broken. Took it into the repair shop and it is going to cost 130 bucks to fix...and they also aren't sure if they can fix it. Really hope they can because I don't have anywhere close to the money for a new laptop
