Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

Titus69This MLK crowd is full of absolute idiots, at work and on hill has been so stressful since Thursday, so many people that are impatient, dumb and rude, havent really been to canyons this season but can imagine saddle and tombstone areas are a nightmare right now, is a shame that canyons has the best terrain.

Its a shame because we took a lap through Red Pine and the kids were scoping out some seriously sick lines off the chutes there, even I was getting in on it and pointing out some seriously fun lines for them to ski: Fun airs into straighlines, straightline chutes, little double stagers, all sorts of fun stuff to ski. Couldnt help but notice the sheer lack of awareness from other skiers though. People were ducking ropes into the sidecountry and all sorts of beater shit. It was shitty. Felt some bad vibes back there so we went back to PCMR. Im glad nothing bad happened today and hope nothing slides this weekend but honestly who knows. That places management needs to figure their terrain out before more people get killed. Theyre risking not only guests lives but their own patrollers by being so reckless.

Whatever, The peak was fucking litty this morning. Havent skied a top-to-bottom jupiter peak run in years so that was a good time. PCMR 4 lyfe.

I cant count how many squids, even when im walking around the plaza dont know people are around them working and trying to not be an idiot.

I just dropped off some work stuff at a house in south lake that I found listed for a cool $12mil. I asked my mom exactly what I would need to do to make that kind of money in my lifetime and she said “win the lottery.”

IMO the system is fucked up when I am surrounded by wealth and that I could only acquire by winning a game of chance.

aaaand I’m ready to start selling my body. Foot pics, dirty undies, sugar daddies, I’d sell organs if anyone would take mine but they’re bunk.

One of my roommates has been on about a week of a drinking binge and im about to sock him in the face, sunday, im waking up early to ski, neighbors probably have work and theres still drunk loud girls over and i told him i was gonna be in bed about 2 hours ago.
Kids an alcoholic almost, drinks way to fucking much and is beligerent.

how'd you become roommates with the kid, like didn't you pick up a vibe from him when you met the buy? i'd be worried constantly about my shit getting stolen if i liked in an arrangement like that just bcuz it seems sketch.

Hes one of a few i live with i met through the other roommate whos a homie, and i dont mean anything like that, hes just a college kid with a problem and is fucking obnoxious drunk.

Thats an ez fix m8, start seriously lutting him down and insulting him in the harshest way, then say its cause ur "concerned" eventually he will snap and either attack you or break ur stuff. Then u get police involved. Ruin his life before he ruins yours. Btw u can tell the girls to leave yourself just walk all over the guy. Its not like he has any self respect anyway.

i dont wanna kill the stoke of some of my kids but i also dont think some of their ski purchases are the best ideas. like we're talking 15 year old scrawny kids riding beastly fat directional skis with pivot18s. im tryna save your knees, young bloods.

Drinking isn't the problem. Just shitty roommates or people that are shitty when drunk. Idk, my roommate is sober most of the time and loud as fuck with loud people over. I drink almost every day and I'm super quiet.

Obnoxious people suck. I work graves and sleeping in the evening is always fun when roommates are loud af. Like yo. Party your frigging heart out from 11 on. Thats prime time for your frigging droog party anyway. Let me sleep.

Not sure hiw many hours of sleep I got but pretty sure it was under 20. Solid for a 6 day work week. Last night(and a bunch of other shit) had me thinking of quiting and moving the fuck out of tahoe.

Idk I still wanna get the fuck away. I have 2 days off. Hopefully I can actuslly sleep. Tried to nap snd scored an hour ir two today. Hoping fir a full night tonight, even if zi have to black out ti fall asleep. Its been a weird week. Grave is already bad for you, I'm sure not sleeping hasn't helped me with everything going on.

I setup said kid on demo 3.0s likely large on him until hes a bit taller, luckily my boss caught on cause he almost got a pivot 18 for the skis he bought, the system had me set him on 4 for the demo..in a year that kid will be charging hard on em, could just use a shorter length at least, those kids do shred for sure though

What are most serious skiers keeping their fins at?? I had mine at 6 or 7 for a while because I was terrified of twisting a knee and I eventually brought it to 8, which has worked great. I just assumed people are setting their dins at 10 or 12+ because nobody buys pivot 12s it seems

Most of the true rippers I know at snowbird set their dins between 10-12, depending on weight and burliness.

Im pretty small but send bigger things, park skis are at a 9.5 with pivots and my all mtn skis are at an 11 front i think 10 back, had issues releasing from the heel so had to up it, on attack 13s, fwd pressures dont match but test passes.

I have a 7, but weigh little. Could go up to a 7.5 if I’m really getting it. My roommate used to ski competitively before destroying himself on a kangaroo flip, he skis at a 10 on a pivot 14 and has never broken a binding. I think most people just buy whatever has the biggest numbers because todd/their favorite pro does it.

depends how big their feet are. Smaller feet require a higher DIN

Youre a rail god so having it at thats probably not a bad thing in some cases. I have mine higher cause im usually in the air, not one of those other 130lb kids that has them at 13 though thats ridiculous.

Hard explaining to 13-15 year olds that bigger does not always mean better lol, I was the same way at their age and get it, but was rocking STH 13s for comp skiing and would pop out a lot. A little bit bigger in size now but ski comfortably in 16-18s because i started maxing out my 13s and ive experience zero issues and pop out when I absolutely need to still.

Mine are on 14. Only one ejection ever when I didn’t see a boulder on blackcomb glacier and did a double front flip.

God damn it seems like the two times i could've skied with a homie i never go with got fucked by work, was gonna be out at 1 but now i dont think he'll even be able to night ski. Ranting about my friends work, seems weird but they fuck him sideways with work.

I was talking to a coworker at work about how I have tons to say and often only can use words to say it which ends up in me babbling on and on like a nut case. But I also have no creative talent whatsoever (in your traditional forms). I have no patience for art(drawing painting etc), I'm too disorganized for writing purposes and music I enjoy but am not skilled enough to fully use it like I would want. But anyways he recommended acting because even though to be "good" or professional is an art - it's literally doing what you do everyday just more structured/controlled.

I thought it was fucking stupid but now that I think about it, I might actually be good at it because I do have a lot of self awareness but also lack confidence. So maybe my learning how to create and bring a character to life, I can learn how to bring myself to life.

In full agreeance/some sort of tram or a rail system like seriously. The lines at the bus stops are pretty big too.

Saw one around 5 off the side right before the gad parking area. It sucks to say but it does really need some sort of system besides busses, my boss whos born and raised here says back 50 years ago even there was talk of a monorail or something. With avy work and other people driving that part of the day can easily ruin the whole day.


Also fuck sundance people, love the mountain being quiet but some rich people are not smart.
