Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

Got my car back, mechanic agreed it had leaked, but despite 2 hours looking and taking off the headliner couldn’t find the source.

Then he left it out in the rain the whole weekend and it didn’t leak. Told me to come back if it leaks again...

Well that was probably the least productive 300 bucks I have ever spent

Fiat Abarth 500

Found a two posts online with pictures of the same thing, but there was no real answer to what was causing it, just people giving possible ideas. I also brought it to a fiat dealership thinking if it was a common problem they would have seen it and fixed it before, but they were stumped too.

Idk at this point, it rained pretty hard over the weekend and the mechanic left it outside, and no leak come Monday.

But I saw the same drip twice before bringing it into the shop, so it sure seemed like it was leaking before.

Maybe it was caused by the colder weather as it was warmer this weekend then it was before, caused the plastic seal to shrink?

Idk at this point I’ll just wait and see if it happens again and if it does try and figure it out myself (I’ll have access to my parents garage again starting next week which will help).

People on outdoors pages that freak the fuck out every time somebody who's gay, black, or a woman get's mentioned for doing anything.

I get the notion that "it doesn't matter" to some extent If you look at a generation ago in history, and even people today, it's obvious it matters to some extent. People need role models, and in general visibility matters.

There are plenty of things I don't like or agree with that I scroll by without a problem. For some reason these middle aged white douchers get so heated about an issue that "they don't even care about" or "doesn't even matter".

Rabble rabble I was a big fan of your _______ but your liberal leftist political agenda makes me want to go somewhere's else. That said I'll keep liking this page to be sure I can complain in the future about how I don't care and I'm unfollowing your page/not buying your products.

I should have passed all my classes this semester but my geo class had the most dipshit useless ta’s on the planet, so I gotta redo a cancer course that’s offered only at 8, because they insist that they don’t have a few of my labs, and some of my quizzes.

I would not just be letting this slid if I were you, I’d make it a huge deal (presuming you actually did the labs and quizzes). No way I would redo a course because a ta lost some of my stuff.

Dont you have copies of your lab reports you can show to the prof to prove the ta lost at least some of the items?

I filed a complaint but it was a whole back and forth for two weeks. I was gonna drop the class but I was in a big group project and I didn’t wanna ditch my group.

Missionaries and stuff

Still not digging my cousins missions delio to Africa. Literally can't write a fucking email without being unreasonably covered it "glory to the father and if it's his will. Something about jebus in everything, and thank the lord for your blessings" as if somebody is going to judge her and send her to hell if she doesn't. She had some shitty prayers at thanksgivings but damn.

Also they also have a donation thing setup for the bigger program missions scam thing, one for a vehicle, and one for babysitters.

I get that they're volunteering probably or working for very little, but save some fucking money. It wasn't like anyone else forced you to go to Africa. I mean a fucking car, a fucking car in Africa. How much could that really set you back? I'm sure they each made at least double what I make in the states. You couldn't save a bit? I mean fuck. How much is babysitting in Africa either? They don't have other crazy volunteer christians to babysit? I'm guessing they do.

Buy your own fucking car, suss out your own babysitter. Hell, you knew you were going to Africa and decided to have another kid, maybe decided before the first one.

I don't get it. Africa doesn't need condescending fucks pushing Jesus anymore than it needs Nick vacationing across it. I haven't done shit for Africa but at least I never claimed to.

Idk, I just hate when people do things with a bullshit agenda. You want to help sick people go help sick people. But do it to be a good person, and help some fucking people. Not to slip them some lines when they're desperate and try to convert them to your stupid religion, probably while learning minimal about their culture and expecting them to learn everything about yours.

Something about the angle many missionaries use just rubs me the wrong way. Also, you're not allowed to say anything because Jebus and they're saving the world.

I'm sure somebody that went to Africa with their church will come in and get pissed at me but whatever. Not saying everyone is bad, just saying a lot of people go into things at the wrong angle imo. And when it's something like this, you can't express anything negative so then once in a while I'll just rant somewhere like this where nobody gives a fuck anyway.

I like the holidays but it always sort of annoys me when everyone talks about the "holiday spirit" and being nice, generous, selfless, and caring for others, when this should be something that we kinda should be doing to begin with, and not let a few days out of the entire year make up for being a shitty person the rest of the year

I took some time to think it over and realized I was being a spoiled brat. It was basically about how my parents sent my little brother out and how my mom sent him out with poor fitting boots from craigslist so he has a blister and then had me get poles that I also warned her likely wouldn't work because he couldnt try them out. Then in the time he's been here he forgot his snow pants one day and lost a glove at lunch another day. Both of the problems I solved.

After thinking it over I realized he's my brother and I need to stick with him and ski slower and attend to his needs. He's only 15 and he loves being out here with me and I'm his big brother so I have to take care of him because I love him. It was just 3 days of skiing primarily groomers at snowbird at slower paces plus the snow pants and glove things coupled with my moms cheapness in the gear she got him getting to me. Now I have tomorrow off and we'll go tear it up tomorrow since he's actually gotten a lot better in the 3 days he's been here.

Nothing like getting woken up from a nap to jump on a sled to ride 40+ on ice rutted work roads through the woods and then hit whale filled trails to do things with guns and stuff.

Snowmaking = 0 training and just fucking send it

Hopefully my last night tonight then moving back into park grooming. We have a good crew, and snowmaking is alright, but some shit is kinda fuck here and shit in snowmaking is kinda always fucked regardless.

She failed in high school and college and expects me to have a 3.75 GPA average in school. Dont really appreciate certain departments of our hotel kinda bullshitting us or not being totally truthful about simple fucking things that we can provide our guests with "not being there", when my bellman goes and searches closets that actually have these said items that we're being told we are out of. Not to mention, the lip service this little fucker at the housekeeping office gave me today about checking on the cleaning status of a condo.

Work with us, not against us. Dont fucking pawn shit off onto others to deal with. Next request I get that I apparently cant fulfill, Im just gonna forward to our housekeeping dispatcher and have him deal with the blowback. These housekeepers are fucking dipshits. Its infuriating.

I have 500$+ packages land through usps every single week. They lost a pack once 3 years ago but it showed up 8 days later. There is a very good chance it will come through
