Before you read my nonsense, basically, I need to quit my job tomorrow but I don't have another job lined up until December which will put me on my ass for quite some time.

Today I was extremely micromanaged on several occasions and blamed for things that I was in no way shape or form involved in. First, my "team lead" tells me not to make coffee after I take the last bit from the pot(from patient waiting room which always needs 1 pot minimum per said team lead) because half the clinicians were in a conference so not a ton of patients would be in. But there were still 50% of patients there with 0 coffee and our patients fucking love their coffee. Apparently, I shouldn't make coffee all of a sudden? There have been days were we have 3 pots out and now all of a sudden we shouldn't have any? I'm leaning towards it wasn't the coffee - it was because I made it. Also my team lead took the time to write me a public email about when the coffee burners should be on/off-as if I wasn't fucking capable of making coffee correctly.

Second, I come into work today just to get blamed for something that happened last night...after I was long gone. I legitimately wasn't even there!!! I had nothing to do with the situation yet this mistake that a coworker made is being put on my record?? How does that even work? I wasn't told much detail just that "next time" not to schedule without permission. I scheduled nothing with or without permission to begin with.

Third, there was a form that was to be completed by a patient at their initial appointment on Friday. It ended up in their chart not filled out - and a filled out form would be faxed to NYS and never end up in there chart. so either way it was incorrect. A coworker basically yelled at me and told me not to put it there. But I never checked this patient in - she did. She put that form in the chart to come back to (which was wrong) and then told me I did it. Which is 100% not true and now I'm in the wrong for misfiling something I never touched? ok.

Fourth, there was a single fax transmittal that successfully completed and it was on the machine. ONE. There are usually 5-10 at any given time. I'm literally stapling the confirmation page to the doc and my team lead tells me to clean up the fax machine...which I was doing and there were no other docs waiting. Literally no more I could do unless she wanted me to use a chlorox wipe to disinfect? again, whatever.

Fifth, I came across things that had my initials written(incorrectly) on them as if I was the person submitting this work. These were things that I have never seen and basically came across by chance. I thought maybe they were old but they were all done within the last week. None of this was completed by me and for the most part filled out wrong.

Sixth, lastly, and potentially most importantly, I heard my name used in conversations that were rather inappropriate for front desk personnel to be having with patients waiting 7 feet away. I may not have been up front today but I heard it all. And this is not the first time which makes it that much more concerning. Honestly, I don't care what was said but the total lack of respect kills me. I did want to give 2-3 weeks to give them ample time but it is hard to be courteous and respectful when the people you work with act in such a way. I'm not a saint, and I definitely have my days but even so I have never once said a bad thing about any person I work with and try to stay positive and friendly. I've always tried to bring that into my work environment. Which makes this situation such a slap in the face because the level of nastiness and pettiness that I've dealt with is so uncalled for. I'm not the most socially skilled person and actually have a hard time with certain social situations and they can totally see that and walk over me. I'm tired of it and it's pretty obvious that I need to leave. I don't know why I feel so bad about it when they probably couldn't care less if I was there or not.

All of this happened in a 7.5 hour work shift which is unacceptable in my opinion. I can take responsibility when I do something wrong but this stuff is actually ridiculous and dishonest from someone's side. Which brings me to either quitting or reporting this. But either way it will turn out poorly for me because I will either be the person quitting or the nark which I would never hear the end of. So it is probably best for me to leave but even if I give 2 weeks notice then it will be a long two weeks. Or maybe I'll get lucky and they will fire me on the spot for trying to quit lol. Actually... that may be the best case scenario to be honest hahaha.

just sucks to see. especially when he is putting in so much work filming and absolutely crushing it. like given the chance he could probably do xgames real ski street and backcountry and come top 3 in both. i dont think any other skier except sammy could come close to being on that level. on top of that he is about to come back to competition joining the FWT which he is able to shake up big time. pretty huge mistake on oakleys part in my eyes.

Well I was going to set up an appointment with my doctor to check out my knees but fuck that, i'm going to my schools clinic tomorrow. I almost feel nauseous walking to class from the pain. I can't sleep somewhat because of the pain but more so due to the fear that my season is over before it started.

Last season i barely skiied, only got ~15 days in. I was incredibly stoked to ski the day after closing day, literally all i've been thinking about this summer. I don't know what i'm going to do if I can't ski this winter.

Reading all the details about the shooting on the U campus last week and how that poor girl did pretty much everything youre supposed to do in reporting stalkers and trying to get the police to do something about her ex, Its just depressing, and so many dropped balls on how no one ran this guys background or knew he was an ex convict with a history of mental health issues. How can people who are supposed to be responsible for protecting people be so bad at their fucking jobs? "Oh cops have so many things to deal with and its hard for them, etc." Yeah well, they dont even do their fucking jobs in the first place and campus police and SLC police should be ashamed of themselves, they constant fail the citizens they serve and have other vested interests.

This new thing of AirBnB's at condo-style lodging properties are a pain in the fucking ass. It literally doesn't make any sense to throw yours into the AirBnB pool when you purchase a unit because most of the time, the lodging/property management company that already owns the building can provide the exact same services (huge emphasis on efficiency and being timely here) for a decent price when you factor in cleaning/maintenance costs and HOA dues. Not to mention a big part of this thing is service too. Us as lodging/front desk folk can't even provide you a fuckin towel for the pool because you didn't book directly through us and paid up resort use fees. Soo many people don't realize that at all when they plan vacations. So your service is now relegated to someone that isn't even based out of the resort, so you can completely forget about quality service for anything. And if its the holidays or any other busy time/weekend? Forget about anything getting done for you at all.

If you're buying a ski in/out property or a piece of property at the base of a resort, Its safe to say that money really isn't a major concern so there's no need to be cheap. And through actually good management services, you'll be able to make a shit ton of money throughout the year and have people there to be able to get shit done for you that will gladly do so. Returns on investments for even the nicest most expensive condos/homes can be easily done in a matter of years. In general, lots of people just figure that AirBnB's are a great way to make some money for yourself on the side without even considering some pretty important things that are gonna cost you a lot in the end like maintenance, cleaning, upkeep, etc. And even worse are people who want their precious lil "income properties" without having to do anything and thats just a nightmare waiting to happen.

If you're gonna do the whole property management thing, just don't be a cheap fucker about it. Its a bit more than just changing lightbulbs and shit like that.

It literally doesn't make any sense to throw yours into the AirBnB pool when you purchase a unit because most of the time, the lodging/property management company that already owns the building can provide the exact same services (huge emphasis on efficiency and being timely here) for a decent price when you factor in cleaning/maintenance costs and HOA dues. Not to mention a big part of this thing is service too. Us as lodging/front desk folk can't even provide you a fuckin towel for the pool because you didn't book directly through us and paid up resort use fees. Soo many people don't realize that at all when they plan vacations. So your service is now relegated to someone that isn't even based out of the resort, so you can completely forget about quality service for anything. And if its the holidays or any other busy time/weekend? Forget about anything getting done for you at all.

If you're buying a ski in/out property or a piece of property at the base of a resort, Its safe to say that money really isn't a major concern so there's no need to be cheap. And through actually good management services, you'll be able to make a shit ton of money throughout the year and have people there to be able to get shit done for you that will gladly do so. Returns on investments for even the nicest most expensive condos/homes can be easily done in a matter of years. In general, lots of people just figure that AirBnB's are a great way to make some money for yourself on the side without even considering some pretty important things that are gonna cost you a lot in the end like maintenance, cleaning, upkeep, etc. And even worse are people who want their precious lil "income properties" without having to do anything and thats just a nightmare waiting to happen.

If you're gonna do the whole property management thing, just don't be a cheap fucker about it. Its a bit more than just changing lightbulbs and shit like that.

Where do you work? I have thoughts of purchasing such a unit and would absolutely run through a property manager. Part of the appeal of a condo as opposed to a cabin aside from location is the shared maintenance HOA thing. I know HOAs can be a pita, but it's pretty cool to have the reserve funds when you need a new roof or something along those lines.
