No ban on fireworks yet even though this whole state is becomming a tinderbox by the hour with these weather conditions, and fires are growing from 20 acres to over 5,000-6,600 acres within a few hours, but nah we dont wanna ruin mormon families fun with their sparklers.

We pay the same for better gas. It was about 2.80 the other day. I just checked on Gas Buddy and the lowest prices in Oregon and Wyoming are within a couple cents but it is not the same gas. The "regular" fuel in Wyoming is 85 octane and the lowest they can legally sell in Oregon is 87. So we pay the same price for better gas and the fuel company is forced to spend some of their profit on the attendants job. The fuel industry is still making a lot of money in Oregon. It's a taxpayer subsidized industry so I have no problem with rules that make it nicer for the average consumer.

DeebieSkeebiesLike honestly how fucking hard is it to replace a rear tire on hardtail? Its been nearly two weeks and had to take my bike back earlier this week because they slept on the bike and rushed getting it repaired, forgot valve caps/put the incorrect tube in, and now its fucked again.

If any of these repairs arent free, im done with supporting shitty small businesses like that.

wait couldn't you just do the tire yourself?
unless there is another problem it takes like 5 mins.

Fucking baby boomers, those entitled shits all coming in to work today to cash out their social security and telling me how easy I have it at my job. I asked one how much he made at his job while he was in college. "I worked in the summer as a lifeguard, and I only made 4 bucks an hour" in 1970 that was the equivalent of 26 dollars an hour. Fucking shits corrupted this country and it sucks. The only satisfaction I have is seeing how fucked up their own lives are and knowing I wont end up that way.

The power is out. It is 91 degrees in our apartment. No fans or A/C so obviously miserable. Only thing we can do is open the windows (no breeze though, of course). And our fucking neighbors are lighting off the loudest fucking fireworks. Our dog is going crazy and there is nothing we can do because no power. It’s 10:45 and we have work tomorrow. Not one to be a dick but lighting off fireworks when there are other houses/buildings 75 feet away and trees everywhere is really fucking stupid and inconsiderate and it is probably situations like these that make them illegal in the first place.

Hey gotta celebrate our taking of this country from natives somehow! My neighbor back in NH sets fireworks off pretty often in the summer at like 10pm.

Working in PC consists of hundreds of geriatrics behind the wheel who dont know what they're even driving, passed a an old women 20 minutes ago in her new Lexus sedan and looked back and her hazards were on casually, further down I find another 80 year old in the middle lane with his on while people swerve around him.

I rode down to ATL from NYC to help a friend move a few weeks back. At one point she was bitching about people passing on the right and "you're not allowed to be doing that". I told her "You're right, you're not supposed to pass on the right, but you're sitting in the left lane going under the speed limit. You're giving them no option to pass you so of course they're going to pass on the right"

It got quite for a while. She also got mad in HS when we were driving up in the mtns. This truck was right behind her. She was freaking out about it. Me: "Pull over and let hi go by" Her "NO" Continues complaining that truck is following closely.


Also have argued with the self righteous rulez R rulez cunts on facebook that say "I drive in the left lane but I'm doing the speed limit" Which they're probably going under anyway. But they're too stupid to understand what locking up the left lanes does to the flow of traffic, and oh yeah, lots of bad accidents happen from traffic and forcing people to change a bunch of lanes to get around you.

Like dude, look for a spot, use your fucking turn signal and merge. Driving and just following the white line till it's in the other lane is fucked.

Had some stupid cunt nearly pull into my car heading to boulder a few days ago. Same cunt ends up next to me in traffic on the highway and does round 2. Luckily me getting to the edge of the lane was enough to not get hit as I had cards in the other lane.

Then she got mad because I slammed the horn and flipped her off. She probably complained about the horrible person that flipped her off while she was just driving to _______.

The shittiest thing is that shitty drivers, are so stupid, they don't even know they're doing anything wrong. Listening to my friend commentate while driving pretty much confirmed how I've though a lot of people view driving based on their road habits.

We have all these campaigns about not texting while driving and other shit. Useless laws about seat belts. Idk why cops can't do something productive and post up by a merge sometime and give out some tickets.

Or do a campaign on left lane cruisers.

Or pull people over who drive in the rain with no headlights. (The amount of huge trucks doing this as well blows my mind)

After driving for a decent amount of time I've come to realize a truism about both skiiing and driving. It's a lot easier to avoid collisions when you go a little faster and focus on what's ahead of you. People who drive 65-70 mph focusing on who's coming up behind them dont focus on what's in front of them as much and as such are more likely to react slowly to something that happens in front of them. When you drive in the 75-85 range leaving plenty of follow room you dont have to worry about this as much and can focus more on the road in front of you.

its like bike trails that sort of intertwine in a way. Like there are horse-specific/foot traffic trails in this little area i like to ride in and also bike-only trails but signs are sometimes easy to miss and they just end up being multi-use trails. Like theres this really rad downhill snake run that clearly says no uphill traffic, bike use only but it doesnt stop people.

My boss's fiance does all the appointment scheduling and shit and is somehow ruining the business and our days from it. Doesn't get the right info and today I'm with one other person and we have to detail 7 cars and always have to tell the next customers were gonna be late, its fucking Friday and we thought we'd be done by 2 and the second before we leave the shop, boom 3 top package details due for 6. Just sits on her phone all day and cant get shot right.

My family and I run a small business where we brew and distribute bacteria for use in ponds, and I got a couple of my friends basic warehousing jobs with us right after highschool. They were the biggest jackoffs that we have ever had work for us. And thus, the rule was born.

It's a fairly large industry. We're just one of many. But the best part is the entire industry is so seasonal that the vast majority of our work for the whole year is done in the summer. So you can imagine what that means for a crusty ski bum like me

I think they started dating when the boyfriend started the business, and hes fine but just shouldn't let her run the mobile detailing while he does wraps and clear bras on exotics. They're cool people but 3 or 4 times this week a customer has told us "oh I told her that" when we didnt know about something specific to do. They also are engaged but argue everyday, cause she fucks up a lot.

I also really hate dog owners who have dogs who are too big for them or a style that "just gets a bad rap" and fail to control their dogs. Oh Charlie is a great dog, you just don't know him. I know he bit 5 people in the last week but spend some time with charlie, he's just misunderstood.

Also feel the same with parents who can't control their kids. If you're going to own dogs take care of them, if you're going to breed, take care of your fucking kids.

Yeah I wasn't even expecting it. I kept my distance passing it was looking at the gat and getting ready to open it and cunt just lunged at me. Hopefully never happens again but if somebodys dog takes me down or wont let go, I'll use anything I have or near me to smash the thing off me. If your dog attacks somebody and gets smashed with a rock or shovel or 6 pack of beer, that's on you and your dog.

I've seen too many people that get dogs they can't handle and then when they bite people make excuses for it.

Not such a dope sting of events. On the worse end of the scale car got broken into last night apparently. Camera and a couple lenses are gone. Luckily my cards were all backed up on a hard drive. They didn't smash my windows which are cool but fucked up the glove box and center console a bit. Also it's fucking trashed inside. I mean, when Im on a road trip my car gets pretty messy sometimes. But it's lit right now.

Also thule key is mia so I have no idea if they took anything from there or how to even check.

Somebody tried to break into my car apperantly....looks like they took a screwdriver to all the tumblers on my doors and failed horribly. So now all my locks are fuuuucked.


On the bright side they didnt break my windows either. But I have absolutely no idea when this happened, could have been anytime in the last 6 or so months.

Damn, people are grimey fucks. I fucking hate thieves. There are many people I hate but thieves def. Realized my gopros and some other stuff was in my roofbox. Had a 2tb in there as well. Was thinking it was just my tripod and some camera gear. HOPING that they ran out of time to get into it.

Going to break into it later I guess and assess the situation. I'd be pretty sad if that was all gone.

I decided to take a break from drinking 4 or 5 days ago. That didn't last very long lol. Blunts and beers all day today. ferr twenny blazeeeeeeeeeeee onnnn.


Can it just be fucking winter again? Things aren't magically perfect in winter, it isn't a cure all season. For some reason things do seem to make a bit more sense though. No matter how fucked things get, a little quite time in the trees with the gently falling snow seems to put everything in perspective, or at least black out some of the bullshit in the world.

What's the damage to fix your locks?

Rough string I think. I mean I wouldn't disagree that I'm a walking shitshow, just not in terms of life but maybe actions lol. Idk, I have a huge network of good friends and stuff, and have been able to survive long enough to pool up some wild experiences.

I think it's just that mental health wise I'm regularly hanging out on the fringe. Sure it's just some shit from my car and stuff, but I get down about that stuff.

On the pluses I saw a bunch of friends and music in south lake a week and change ago and then drove up to Washington with other friends for 4 days to camp and see music and had a blast. Idk, I try not to dwell on the shitty stuff but I post it in this thread to vent and get rid of it.

There are plenty of times where crazy fucked up shit could have gone down, or shit was going down and I avoided any problems. Could always be worse.

They can throw some other locks in with a separate key for my doors for 300....so I'm gunna go that route for sure. Not worth 900 dollars more to use 1 key

Profahoben_212If I want my locks to work with my current keys its apperantly going to be 1200 bucks....fucking ridiculous.

They can throw some other locks in with a separate key for my doors for 300....so I'm gunna go that route for sure. Not worth 900 dollars more to use 1 key


fuck that blows. Yeah 3 is better than 12 but still not cheap. Damn

My work refuses to give me a set schedule, unlike everyone else who works there. I've been here three years and am treated kinda like shit. It's so hard to make plans when you have no idea when you'll be working next.
