Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

true, i cant find this V on the heelpiece they are talking about and hoping its not on the mounting plate under the heel lol.

Is this the same ongoing issue thats been plaguing other Pivot/FKS bindings? my friends all experience the same issues with couple year old FKS' and even have had them snap the plate in half which i think is just another seperate wear and tear issue.

Maybe. Broke a rip this summer trying to help drunk friend back from the bar. Re fucked it up a couple weks ago because I hiked down to some village and got super gnar sickness on the way back almost didnt. Had most violent coughing fits id ever had/seen. Woke up rib was killin me again.

I didnt get hurt from spring 2014 when i broke my brain, until the rib thing. Other than concussion or 2.

Actually broke my wrist next winter on a shirty build of ice death. But that wadnt too bad.

I held up well till high school. Had one bad injury there then was pretty solid till 22 when i broke my collarbone then broke my brain in the same season. Then i tore my knee the next summer etc.

Oh well.

Maybe i should hang it up and take up knitting or something.

Part of why I love winter is because there's no pollen to ruin my life, a few weeks until my eyes are beat red all day, sneeze a lot, and have my throat itch.

I found myself going down a similar path where I was just getting hurt all the time. I've found that almost all of the injuries happen when I'm ripping at >95% capacity , whether it be pushing it skiing, mountain biking, drinking, weightlifting, basically anything. I've been dialing it back to like 80% whenever I'm doing something risky, it sounds like a pussy move but honestly it's cut down on the accidents

I finally understand why foreigners don’t like American tourists. I read a few sites that offered me a foreigers perspective, on American tourists.. just this morning I came across a few of the Hood gypsies and related everything in the article to these domestic tourists
1- They are loud
2- Obnoxious
3- Unconcerned
4- Arrogant and they feel it’s all about them

American tourists are the worst. I only realized after spending half a year away from any Americans in a small french city, than when I traveled to Paris, I was blown away by not only how obnoxious the American tourist i saw but how bratty and snobby they sounded. gross

I slipped and fell on my way to my thesis defense. I got covered in mud from head to toe and don't have time to run home. Really hoping my boyfriend comes thru with a good outfit because I'm sad and mad. I get to defend this semester because I have two classes left and my department doesn't do fall defenses. This is great, everything is fine.

Thanks my dude. My boyfriend brought me a change of clothes, and I was able to shower. I'm feeling much better about this now. I know my thesis, all I have to do is talk about it. :)

I think that is a pretty mean thing to say. I just think it is important to promote healthy discussion amount my fellow skiers. Perhaps we can improve the sport by talking about things that might need to change.

I feel like the mix of solid content and complete wtf shitstorms were what kept people coming back.

Imo the internet is a place to blow off steam arguing with strangers but also coning together over your common bonds. Argue about politics or life bullshit, but chat about skiing and meet up on the slopes for a beer or some hot laps in the park.

The ns forums are dying because kids don't use forums.

Im actually pretty stoked that even though NSG has fissled SG has been pretty damn strong.

I don't think things are any different, just that technology puts us in each others space more. People have always been arguing, fighting, and killing each other over politics and other dumb shit.

With Facebook etc you not only see many more opinions, but can easily post and argue with people you otherwise wouldnt have even talked to.

I’m getting adds for buying season passes from mountains like Vail and Breck etc and I live in Vermont. So annoying getting spammed with these everywhere I go along with various passes like the icon pass which I couldn’t give 2 shits about.

Uh Stowe is included on the Vail pass.

I was considering the Icon but they can suck a fat one raising the price 100 bucks on 5/1 I'm not paying for that shit now. Same thing with the Wildcat pass price goes up tomorrow. Fuck off. I will likely get the Stowe/Vail one.

Local Arco is somehow out of $1 bills today. What the heck? Must have been an issue at the bank or something because when dude popped the till it looked like a pirates chest. Pretty much full of $1 coins and 50 cent pieces. I got like 4.37 in change and got all coins.
