What would you do if you ruled the country you live in?

If you were the sole ruler of your country IE you had unlimited power, what would you do?



I would make trade 100% free, Decrease taxes in general and allow more immigration to the country bringing in new talent.
Also I would instate the death penalty for serial killers who are sentenced to life in prison, reform the education system to make it more about learning that exams and encourage green cities, with more walking and public transport than cars and lots of trees and other decorative stuff in streets.

OP, if only lowering taxes were that easy. Areas already complain they don't have enough money to pay their employees and pave roads for example. And you want them to have less tax money? Who is going to pay for schools that are already cutting programs?

With 58% of national spending going to the military, I would greatly decrease that to around 20% giving me some extra leeway, also I should have been more clear with the taxes. I would reduce income tax to like 15% for everyone, which would attract enough rich people and big companies to make up for most of it.


I feel as though allowing one person to rule the country singlehandedly would fix a lot of problems. I think the current dual-party system is kinda whack, as noone gets their say and nothing actually happens.

I would do a lot of things differently. First I would slowly start the switch from fossil fuels and start making clean nuclear power plans as a sustainable energy source up until the point we have a consistent alternative source for energy. Then I would bring in scientists to design a car that runs on electricity and wifi so say if someone decided to steal a car or something like that it would stop the car and they would be locked in said car till the police arrived. Cops would be there to help people instead of just convict them of harmless crimes. Every thing that my country is doing wrong I would fix. instead of employment insurance and welfare I would have organized businesses that hire people on that are out of work and each business would be forced to have positions open at certain times of the year. I feel I could cut the unemployment in almost half or more just by that alone. The country would have high tax for certain things that would help pay for things in the community rather than politicians pockets. I would try to eliminate the lower class by giving them more opportunities in the way of jobs and what not. It would be a highly evolved democratic society.

Basically my vision is a utopia where all the racism and all other discrimination would be non-existent and everyone has an affordable means of transportation. power would be relatively cheap and always accessible. I would do away with monopolies on markets and not allow them to exist(no matter how well one person can do one thing someone can always do it better that's how business's grow and are always forced to do better than the competition).


Pretty much all I can say without getting into to much detail and ending up with a huge wall of text.

Lastly, on our state TV station, BRN, we have our nightly Forum With Byron, where i remind everyone how important it is that they keep me happy and how much they should love me, sometimes they get to ask questions but not usually. Then i fuck my hot ass fuck GF in her butthole (on live TV of course) and then throw on a fedora and pass out.

I don't know if i'd go that far, but Clinton left Bush with a damn good setup and the largest federal surplus and Bush quickly plummeted that into massive debt. I agree that Obama isn't given nearly enough slack considering the state of government spending when he took over presidency. Not to say that he's made all of the best decisions, but it'd be like having both of your legs cut off and then being criticized for the way with which you wheel your wheelchair

Just create a new religion based all around skiing, so that on public holidays people have to go ski and have skiing be the main form of meditation/access to god.

Or you could just ski all day, and increase spending to 80% on ski resorts. Build super mega parks that are accessible to everyone ( like a public gym) and make freeskiing the national sport of the country.

Raise taxes to the rich and cut military spending just enough to give everyone a pair of ski's, a season pass to a decent nearby mountain, public transportation to said mountain, a Nintendo 64, Gamecube and small monitor, and a 1 copy of each of the following: Super Smash Bros 64 and Melee (non of the Brawl shit), Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Starfox 64, and Mario Kart Double Dash. This should be enough to keep anyone happy for the duration of their life. As long as they can afford the basic necessities, which they will due to a new welfare program I would make, funded my the absurd amounts of money I've taken out of military spending. This plan should completely eliminate any unhappiness in the entire country.

I would stop spending money on ridiculous government programs, I would stop meddling in other countries affairs, and by doing that I would make it possible to lower taxes and pay off our debt slowly but surely.

I would make it not blow.

People would actually have rights. In areas where I didn't have any idea what was going on I'd learn what I could and ask advice from legitimate sources.

I'd give people their freedom back and get the economy rolling again. Those would be the most important things on the agenda. If I had to live in the whitehouse I'd probably live in a tent out behind it. I'd listen to the people vs. the people trying to bribe me with $.

Doesn't matter because I'll never be, and if I was I'd probably get shot pretty damn quickly.
