Rough draft of my first showreel, critique??

So decided to try and put together my first showreel off some of my shots over the last few years. This is far from done and I plan on filming some more for it over the summer/change out some of the clips I don't really like. Also haven't started doing any color correction since after effects witch had my color correction plug-in stopped working so I have to figure that out before making it public.
Anyways I would love to have some of you guys give me a second perspective on this before I continue! Does the song work, is the length good, any shots that seems very out of place or is it just boring?

I don't really know almost anything about filming but I thought overall it looked realy good but I'm not sure if this was intentional or not but I didn't like when people were supposed to be talking and all you heard was music. nice work tho

Thanks man, glad you liked it! I will test out toning down the music a bit before the interview and see how it looks.

For a showreel I don't think you need to add the audio from the interviews. it didn't bother me watching it and production companies or agencies will often view the reel without sound to just focus on the visuals.

I thought the ending was much too abrupt. There wasn't really any lead up, and the last few shots didn't seem any better than those in the beginning. Also, I would just put your name in the end title, and take out "showreel".

thanks guys, I will take out showreel and Im trying to make the ending flow better. I also plan on changing out the sunset time-lapse in the ending with one that might fit a bit better so hopefully that will help.

I thought it looked real professional. the only thing I would fix is the part where it shows some guy talking but you couldn't hear him. other than that it looked real sick

Change the song. Didnt like it at all and didnt match any of the footage imo. Also cut faster. Clips were too long. As other people have said...the interviews are weird and seem out of place. Figure that out with the audio and what works best.

^thanks, I will try to find another song that might fit better but I honestly suck at that part.. Might end up just replasing the interviews because I cant find a way to add the audio that looks good..

Lost some editing motivation and been busy with other things so haven't done much on this since I posted it but just changed the song, removed and changed out the interviews+ replaced some other clips. Would love to hear what you guys think about the current song before I continue! Haven't started color correction and haven't put allot of work into cutting to the beat yet because Im not completely sure about the song, also just realized I forgot to remove some voices from the background on some clips...
