So I'm looking to pick up a Tiffen nd filter but I'm not sure what density to get.
Im gonna be shooting in bright light and i want to keep my aperture around f8 while keeping shutter at 125
do i go with .9 or 1.2?

omnidataDisregard Tiffen and acquire Heliopan.
omnidataMade in Germany with precision, and we all know that's the best kind of precision.
Brass frame instead of aluminium. (stronger and doesn't bind as much to the lens)
Use Schott AG glass (same as Zeiss uses for their sexy lenses)
Better quality control.
Screw threads that are actually machined correctly.
If it's too much, get a B+W.
Also a Tiffen will most definitely work. But if you want the best that will outlast you and your future great grandchildren get a Heliopan.
Mitchell.I'd say .9 just cause it'll be close enough, I just feel like the 1.2 might be too much and its easier to stop up to like f10 if its really needed versus not being able to hit f8. Idk that might not make sense but yeah.
