Fks brake problem

ok so i have new fks 140 with a brake size 90mm. i want to buy the new on3p kartel 98. i fitted my binding just above the space in between heel piece and toe piece on my brother elan spires. its a tight fit but it should work. has anyone bended their fks brakes out roughly 8mm. and also how hard is it to find a 115mm brake? or is a 115mm brake even needed in this situation

115 brake would be far too big.

I've put 115's on a 132mm ski. 8mm is nothing, you could probably get that much bend without even using tools.

If you're bending FKS with the brake still in the binding, stick a boot in the binding so the brake is retracted then pull the arms out sideways, otherwise the mechanism can get a bit twisted up.

8mm is nothing. The shop that mounts your skis and bindings will likely tweak the brake arms slightly by hand to ensure there is enough clearance. You have nothing to worry about, just let the shop take care of the rest.

For whatever it's worth, I have 90mm FKS brakes on 110mm waisted skis, and 115mm FKS brakes on 135mm waisted skis.
