Going cliff diving today at a spot I have been on numerous occasions. The highest jump is 35 feet or so and I'm hoping to get a selfie-type video of me front flipping it (which I've done before). I was about to build a gnarwhal mount on an old helmet for my GoPro in order to get the shot, but it occurred to me that the drag of the pole once I hit the water could cause my head to torque backward. I would just hold a pole in my hand like most people, but I'm unsure that I'll be able to properly tuck at the end and get the flip around while holding the pole.
Has anyone ever tried this? Should I just hold the pole in my hand? Other solutions?
+K for any helpful input
