Really really cool product. Stuff like this certainly has its place, but I dont think it will ever actually take place of a human flown drone, its kinda like the tripod head that films you; neat and all but will never replace a human filmer.

Saw this over a month ago (claim), but this really seems interesting. I think it has the potential to replace a human-flown drone, but I dont think it will ever overtake the human filmer

I don't think professional filmmakers would want this instead of a human controlled drone, but it is still a sick product! Would be awesome to make short edits with this. Imagine just walking around with a drone following you and filming everything you do!

Don't think it would replace a good filmer for say, any pro productions out there, but for amateurs it could really be awesome, especially if you don't have a big crew or a friend that loves filming more than getting filmed. However it's pricy as fuck so not too sure.

Read the description of different flight modes, it really sounds amazing, it could become a great tool for good filters too, you can literally make it do whatever you want.

There are already drones out on the market that do similiar things to this, plus, it seems like this one is sketchy from the fact that it's their first one that their releasing as a company

And typical quadcopters out there fly for roughly the same amount of time with half as much of programming involved

My dads work makes a six rotor drone that can be programmed to follow a set path or follow a moving remote transmitter,ie in your backpack. 56mph, 13k plus feet in altitude doable, it's also able to manevuer and sense objects in its path. Also it's one of the only drones consumerly available that can carry more weight than its own weight. 40000 bucks plus training and remote. It is preeety sweet to fly tho!

wow thats a huge letdown actually because now it cant be used for treeskiing where it would be the most useful

Ahh, fair enough, I dont know anything about this subject, honestly, that just seems like a really short amount of time.
