Cliff jumping in Tahoe/Truckee

Im moving to the Tahoe area this summer. I have heard that there are a lot of really good cliff jumping spots/swimming holes in the area. Can anyone help me point out some cool spots?

Are you looking for just cliff jumping? If so, head up to Lover's Leap. Make sure you jump off the highest point for your one, only, and last jump. Enjoy and thanks for helping with the overpopulation problem!

Stop at the grand canyon on your way. There are plenty of cliffs along the whole length of it

I was just in Tahoe last summer. I'm more familiar with cliff spots on the way to Tahoe.

The Yuba River is awesome.. My friends live in Marysville/Grass Valley right over the border of Nevada. (near Reno)

We drive about an hour to this spot on the Yuba called Emerald Pools that has an 80' cliff, a 40', and so on.

DL Bliss has some pretty good spots.

Angora Lake down in South Lake has some solid areas. Some of the big rocks on the east shore are large enough for it.

Other than that, I only know of a bunch of wilderness area lakes for that.

DL Bliss for sure...The place is also probably the coolest spot on earth. So beautiful.

Enjoy Tahoe man, I miss that place.

cant believe everyone is saying bliss... angora is without a doubt where its at. bliss's highest jump is maybe 15 feet. angora has em all the way up to 60+.

DL Bliss has a about a 35' rock to jump off right now that's always super fun.

Angora Lake has more options, can't say I've been there though

Emerald Pools is about a 45 minute drive from North Shore down on the Yuba River and has some really fun cliffs, anywhere from 20-70'.

Hit me up if you're tryna jump this summer though I'll be here!

i'm probably exaggerating a bit, it's more like 25-30 but you gotta hike around the corner on the rocks a ways
