What up guys. Need to change up my liquor game from the old fireball. I like crown but that shit is expensive. I hear Absolut and redbull is good? Or absolut and sprite? What do you guys recommend that won't get me sloppy drunk, but that goes down smooth and is easy on the after burn. And what mixes well with it?

When I drank Fireball I'd either mix or chase with Dr. Pepper and it was sexcellent. The only way to drink that sugary shit.

In the beginning there was jager-- but then you got sick off of it, and never touch the stuff again
then there was fireball-- which you're just sick of
then there will be mostly tequila, which you will get sick off of to the point of not even being able to smell it, so you'll go back to fireball, you'll dabble with vodka and mixed shots, but vodka straight is gross, and mixed shots are too sugary...you'll eventually in the end come back around to tequila, but only top shelf.
That's the pattern I've noted in most.
For me in hard liquor it went, fireball= way to drunk and puking that shit up made my nose burn like hell. Now whenever I think of it I remember burning and puking and the smell makes me sick to my stomach. Then I went onto some bacardi peach shit I think when I realized all that shit is basically alcohol and sugar. Then I went to sippin beer for a while now I'm about the gin and tonics, and redbull/absolut when I wanna get shittttty
I'm a fan of jamiesons. You don't need to take shots like a 17 year old before prom. Just drop some ice cubes in and enjoy.
Crown Royal black is good as well.
The idea of taking shots makes me lol. I have one drink and im tired and ready for bed like an old man.
If im at dinner i often sit at the bar and tell the bartender i like whiskey and rum then let them make me something. Ive found so many good drink this way
scotch and bourbon are really the only things worth drinking that aren't made in a backwoods still by someone with a confederate flag in the back window of their truck
bourbon and ginger ale, evan williams is fairly cheap
jack or captain and coke
Seagrams Seven Crown and Seven up (7 and 7)
or just go to the liquor store, pick something different, and look up what people are mixing with it online
yea Fireball is technically not whisky at all, its a cordial. Honestly, develop a pallet for real whisky. Jack, Jim, Evan Williams are all good with a little bit of coke.
I drink whiskey on the rocks except for lately when its 100 degrees out I just can't even stomach whiskey in the heat. I stick with beer mostly, but a good sugar free redbull vodka to kickstart a saturday never hurt anyone. I also like to mix vodka and gatorade/powerade on ice. Its a good way to beat the heat. I also like margaritas or just sipping some good tequila over coronas is hard to top. Honestly I pretty much will drink anything, except whiskey when its this god damn hot out like I said above.
quality tequila, i used to hang out with some very wealthy Mexicans and they gave me a taste for expensive tequila and its hard to go back to any. However if the money isn't available than fireball, Canadian mist, Canadian LTD and Vladimir vodka are always great choices
RedPandaGot alcohol poisoning from too much whisky and threw it up for 3 hours and now I can't go near hard alcohol at all. I guess I learned my lesson..
hey-dude-its-meyea at bars theyre more of a social thing than a get wasted thing, I cant remember a time leaving the bar thinking 'I really wish I drank more' anyway
it's a social thing at first but shots get you so wasted. i will never do shots again. ever.
My parents have this Rum from the Caribbean its called Cruzan, it comes in like 30 flavors like Banana, mango, coconut and another tropical flavor and the Banana rum tastes just like banana laffy taffy its only 20% but it tastes amazing

Jack Tennessee Honey and vanilla coke
Sailor Jerry or Captains and ginger ale
Admiral Nelson and apple cider (riot punch)

Uh guys, I got this bottle of vodka that was given to me as a gift, just sitting in the closet. Its pretty decent quality apparently. Does anybody want to give me any tips on how to make anything that not tastes like hand sanitizer with it?
