MTPOWI don't know the proportions but orange juice+vodka+tobasco sauce makes an exceptional drink.
MothaHuckerHow has nobody said black velvet yet? Its like 17 dollars a half gallon for a pretty smooth and flavorful whiskey

.Hugo.Because its not smooth or flavorful. It might be worse than windsor
division.bellDon't go knocking the Windsor, I lived off that stuff during school. We had a shrine dedicated to our aspiring alcoholism; most of which was 1.75 bottles of Windsor.
Due to MN's lame liquor laws I got to know most of the liquor stores between Winona and Red Wing on both sides of the river...if you haven't found the Woodshed yet, you owe it to yourself to stop by at least once.
There are plenty of worse things out there than Windsor. Granted, I can't even think of stomaching the shit now days, but I have definitely stooped to ground floor bottle action in my days. Kamchatka gin was one of the absolutely worst choices ever, $9.00 1.75 bottles should be enough to keep you away, but i had to try it at least once.
.Hugo.Oh I drank nothing but windsor for almost 3 years in school too. But its nowhere near a good whiskey, and black velvet is worse. Thats all I was saying
CirilloI was all about gin and tonics for a long time but the sugar was giving me sick hangovers so now it's just gin and soda.
louie.miragsSoda has mad sugar too mang... I drink whiskey and coke but just saying
MontanaMugginWhat kind of Gin would you recommend?
JayDopeKetel one with some club and a lime, Barenjager if you can find it, night cap ill sip on some grand marnier, and cant go wrong with some Knob creek
lIllIBombay is kind of the "standard" in that it is not too expensive while still representing the approximate bare minimum of quality you should pay for. You can't get away with bottom-shelf gin like you can with other alcohols. I feel like most young drinkers who hate gin are basing that off some Monarch handle they wasted their money and liver on in the dorms.
Having said that, Boodles is an excellent alternative to Bombay. Smoother, cheaper, just as good.
yelselI'm a gin lover and in my opinion, Hendricks is better. Make a gin and tonic but use cucumber slices instead of lime. So good.
lIllII agree on both fronts. I wasn't saying Bombay is the best - I'm saying it's the most well known and middle of the road gin that is widely available, and it is often what most people compare other middle of the road gins to.

p.hawksForgot a big one in my post. Not for every night, but every once in a while its fun to unleash the kraken.

HamFaceGirlIf you use mixers in any way you're a bitch. Can't handle the taste? Don't drink it
Thizzle.Oh man my brother lives on that shit. It's really not that bad but if I am looking for strong rum I'd rather spend a little extra and get some Sailor Jerry's or Blackheart.
CassiusClaySecond the gin and tonic. Gin on the rocks is great as well so long as you've developed taste for gin. Also, moonshine, but start with a flavored shine or you'll be breathing fiery gas fumes for a few days.
SkiFreshPow1/2 champagne, 1/2 flavored vodka. Tastes good and is a lot of alcohol for the portion size.
Ralph_Swaggumschanpps is good
MontanaMugginAbsolut
gRAPEFRUITI remember when I was 13
Gentleman Jack is my current favorite, followed by any of the Johnny Walker labels. Fucking delish.
