Good choice or bad choice

My friend bought the Cannon 4k today and I'm wondering if it will be capable of filming skiing well, and obviously it has the 1080p and everything, but it came out in 2013...comments?

There will be too many pixels when you film skiing and it will overexpose like crazy.
Also it wont be able to focus quickly enough. Really bad choice buying it bro.
