lIllII use the non-Patroller version of this ski for every type of skiing. It's the most versatile ski I've ever ridden - they're weightless with Dynafits on 'em.

-DawnPatrolYeah, I had a look at those last year when they still made them twin tip. Surface makes a great ski, but I wasn't super happy with the edge construction on my NoTimes so I passed on the SaveLifes. I Was also a little bummed that they dropped the twin tip. The other patrollers say it sprays your patient, but I'm not so sure it's as bad as they say. When the sleds behind me I spend more time side slipping than not.
p-foWait, they're giving you HH and North Face tech gear for free? I'm honestly not sure why you wouldn't want to take advantage of that. Better to be over-prepared than under-prepared, right? Just get XXL everything.
-DawnPatrolThe HH pants run way too short for me and most of the other tall patrollers. The north face jackets are nice, but any day outside of Jan/Feb it's a little too much. We have to return the jackets anyway. Guess it would just be kind of cool to see Some stylish gear with the white cross on it.
p-foSee if you can negotiate and get a shell instead of an insulated jacket. It's generally more practical anyway. If not, maybe try a company like NWT3K. Their jackets are already semi-custom shells, so you might be able to get a white cross sewn on.
Caucasian_AsianTNF makes their pants in tall sizes if the regular ones aren't long enough for you.
Also, it's a job. Look professional.

.squirrely.The dude wants a taller jacket holy fuck why is that a problem for a patroller? I understand why you would not want to ride twins because of the spray, but I dont see how a bigger jacket is less professional looking.
tomPietrowskiBecause it's uniform. I would love to wear whatever I wanted at work but I can't as I have to portray a professional image. For him as a patroller it's an even bigger factor as his job is to actually look after people on the mountain. He can wear whatever he wants in his own time but when working there are standards that have to be met.
.squirrely.Yeah, but isnt he looking for a patrol uniform from saga or something? Maybe I misread the op who knows, this is a stupid argument anyways man
