We all are aware of it: regionals are a barren wasteland. I am nearly 100% certain that the biggest reason to this is true is that they are relatively hard to access. They have the potential to be much more useful than they are now if they were used more often by more members.
I have a great idea that will give them the CPR that they need. What if the regional forum button was linked to each member's specific region forum? Each member already has a region set to their profile, so I can't imagine this would be took hard to code. It'd take a single click rather than 2 and another 2 seconds of searching to get to your forum. I know I would find this useful and would most likely make me visit regionals quite a bit more.
How easy would this be to do? Would it even be possible to do without revamping the site? Or has this been thought of and turned down before?
