If the big air skate board ramp was covered with snow would it work for skiing?
Look up the air and style contests. They've been doing scaffolding big airs for a long time. The 1/4 pipe would be a pain in the balls though as snow doesn't want to just stick flat to a vertical surface.
Have you never seen any of the preseason big airs? King of Style, icer air, freestyle.ch, and a few more that have come and gone are all scaffolding built jumps that look almost identical to a megaramp, save the fact that the ski jumps have less flat and more of an abrupt transition, and there's no quarterpipe. However, back in the day, there were tons of quarterpipe comp features and/or film shoots on hips and quarterpipes.
