Northern arizona university

I never went to NAU but i'm from Flagstaff, and worked 2 seasons at Snowbowl, the only ski area close to Flag.

Its a nice size and a nice campus, but i got tired of Flag. Too boring, and going to phoenix is too hot. Maybe if i was from the East coast i would see it differently, but I just saw it as a shitty version of CO or MT. The skiing is very iffy, but with snowmaking the park has been on point. However they regularly close big features because of the massive amount of gapers who get hurt.

Oh yeah. Arizona Snowbowl is the epicenter of the douche Snowboard gaper brah. They all come up from Phoenix, and they all blow.

Back on track. Greek life is ok there, not great and not that prevalent, but you can still get wasted with your brahs if you rush. If you are a pow skier you might be shocked. Youll go a month with no snow then get a 35-55 inch nightly dump for a few nights in a row. Its how AZ gets all its natural snow, in massive, far apart storms. But honestly the deepest lightest pow i've ever skied was in AZ, but the pow days are few and far between.

UVM in Burlington, that is if you dont want to ski pow.

You also need to know if you want to whole super party frat bro thing, youre going to have to go to a big school to really get it. ASU and UA both have waayyyy bigger and better greek systems. Most of those 22,000 and under schools just dont have the population to really have big time frats.

My cousin went to NAU, and loved it. She just graduated. I know she shredded at Snowbowl a bit. To be honest, I looked to get 50 days on snow and it didnt happen this year. It's a bit of a hard goal to do. Either way you'll have a ton of fun. Can't comment on the greek scene there but I'm a Phi Tau at a tech school in NY and it's a fucking blast. Find the group you fit in w best when rushing, not who has the greatest rep or whatever

yeah its actually a really fun school, but not so much for someone going there to ski. More like you go there for a few reasons and it has some decent skiing close, but if youre looking to get 50 days id go elsewhere. And 50 days was not hard at MSU or this year at Western Washington, just got to have your priorities.

Pretty much on point. I went to ASU, so I would drive from the valley to Snowbowl pretty often.
It was very cool to be able to go from palm trees, pools and bikinis to skiing.
