Looking at the analytics, it says either somewhere in Colorado or New York.

RandelSkisChestnut is awful! Why the fuck would we have an NS meet at one of the worst resorts in the Midwest. Granite Peak or Tyrol would be so much better. Hell even Cascade would be better than Chestnut.


i heard that Cascade is getting a new park sponsor for next season and that the park is gunna be huge.

I'd put in free labor if I could build a feature for it. Logistically would be a lot harder than the meet up though. Would have to find a place that was down with it. Could use a lot of snow. Would need to take over a park etc.

Only a couple people said NYC. NY state and NY city aren't the same.

NY state is the middle of the east coast. You can drive from new england, the mid atlantic, the canadians can come down, people from ohio can jump over.

If you're trying to get a good turn out that makes a big difference. Hell we could have an NS global meet up on the best pow lines in alaska but if 10 people show up it wouldn't really be as cool.

And it would go like that for each state. It would be a good time and it would be more realistic than EVERYBODY coming to one place

On the east coast most people don't have a problem traveling a few states. Could definitely get away with one centralized location on the east. If you need one in every state country, province everywhere else that's fine. But on the ice coat we know how to party.

In my anecdotal data collection from this thread, I surmise that if there was only one it should be either in Park City, Colorado or a major NY/VT resort (think killington).

Ideally we hit a couple, but having more at one single stop is merrier.

Would people fly to something if it was super rad, or is it local only or no go?

Don't get your hopes up too much. One day we'll do this but I can't guarantee its next season.

I'd travel probably within 2 hours if you did a euro stop. I'm located pretty damn central so should be easy enough. Unless it falls in with travel plans then id go 5-6 hours

I don't think the majority of ns users have the cash for plane tickets plus lodging and food. Don't forget to try to cater to the guys in the mid west somehow. They have a ton of spirit to ride rope tows all day long and they get even less attention than the east. Maybe try to road trip it like TC.

Yeah the east coast ALWAYS has something going on like tell a friend tour and there are still people complaining about not having anything come to the east coast. The midwest om the other hand we dont get much the last major thing was the inspired demo tour. Which is a bummer because you see some kids at the hill (bump) almost every single day having a blast no matter what the conditions are.
