Is there a trick to stomping landings?

For instance cork 7's...

There are some times where i land ultra back seat, or they are just the most perfect landing I have ever had...

I have been doing them for ages, but it seems with me that stomping tricks come as pure luck and I can never tell what I did differently even on video

I have heard some people say you literally can try STOMP the landing by pushing your feet down hard and then absorbing

Others say that it just takes repetition of the trick and practice makes perfect

Opinions? Would really appreciate

You'd be surprised how much you can fix a landing by doing a proper takeoff.

Almost all the time in this case what you're missing is a solid pop on takeoff.
