Skis for jumps

I'm gonna have like 500 dollars for a new ski budget this season. I need some skis that I can easily swing for 360s, 540s, 720s and so on. I usually stick to jumps. I need my new skis to be able to handle 60 foot jumps and lots of falls. I tend to stay away from jibs. I may be looking at the line futurespins.

Well look for traditional park ski so full cam 're with maybe just a little early rise. You will also want them pretty stiff and the best way to keep swing weight down is to have a ski with capped tipped and tail.

I would look at the predator(although maybe a little heavy) armada ar7, atomic punx, Salomon box ext. The future spin may just be too soft for you. I enjoyed the ski but found it just a bit too soft for my liking.

Wow auto correct went crazy there. That should be prestor not predator and Salomon nfx not box. Or suspects for that matter actually.

Ar7s seem to do the job quite nicely. Also I have Moment vice which are a mustache rocker but handle jumps really well and are also pretty damn light, might be a little over the $500 price limit though

I had future spins this year and they aren't that durable. I would suggest spending a few more dollars for a more durable skis.

i would take a look at armada alpha x. I ski similar to you and im getting these skis. ive done a lot of research, and ive found that these skis are good for jumps, going fast, and ripping the whole mountain. good luck man

They could be an option but with the rocker in the tip and tail they are not going to be the most stable for bigger jumps. A full camber ski would e better such as te ar7

I just got the ar7 and it seems like a pretty solid ski. its stiff but not so stiff you cant butter. I haven't skied them yet but they seem like they will be durable.

ya need something with some camber to handle those jumps. go with last years k2 recoil. you can pick them up and still have some money for bindings w your budget

take a look at the prester. as its from on3p it should be pretty durable. otherwise, id recommend the punx. ive had them in the past when they were softer, and have since ridden the new ones and i would recommend them for jumps now.

If you don't mid an asymmetrical ski, the nordica Omw's are great stiff and durable!

Surprised no one has recommended the Chronics. I've had 5+ pairs over about 7 years, including the originals and the most recent. Absolutely great skis.

How tall are you? 4frnt switchblades are basically the same ski as the AR7 but a bit cheeper in price. If you want a wider park ski look into the 4frnt Devastator. Look up quinnw he has great edits of him throwing down on them, and he used them all year on rails and jumps.

ON3P's skis make other skis look like toys, no joke. Sounds like the Prester is for you.
