Traveling on the tramp

searchbarred, found a few threads with this in it but none telling how to not travel.

So lately I've been traveling like crazy on the tramp. Here's my latest bail:

(caught feet in netting, thought for sure I'd broken my back)

Do you guys have any tips on how to jump and land in one spot?
I realize I have to jump up not back/forward, but is there some trick to jump up, or is it all practice. I hope its not all practice...

Sorry to say but it is kinda just air awareness and being used to flipping and being in the air. You will get used to it dont worry. Also you could try jumping forward a little as you flip if you are flying back to far. The forward jump and flying backwards would mostly cancel out

jump in the middle of the tramp so that it doesn't bounce you the wrong way and like you said jump straight up. that's the key factor. jump up the rotate not the other way around. hope this helps

This, try to set the trick later. I had this problem but the other way around with backies where I was travelling forward. I fixed it by jumping later and not rushing it. Also try to use your arms a bit more to throw as this will help cancel out the backwards movement.
