Tramp mats/foam pit options

Hey NS, after really liking being able to practice tricks in to thick crash mats and foam pits to use, I was wondering if any of you have done something similar with an at-home setup. Have any of you made your own foam pit or came up with something else to crash in to?

I usually throw new tricks onto the springs or the frame or occasionally the ground. It's not soft or painless, but you can't beat the price.

IF you're going the mattress route the springless ones are the best imo. The kind they have at summer camps. Those things pretty much are crash mats.
Or you can look online for cheap crash mats. Phone pits are expensive to build.
One of the cheapest safest options imo is to dig out your trampoline in the ground. Then even if you go off the side learning a new trick you land pretty safe. Through a few mats around and you're golden.
