Salomon binding help.

Hey there NS. I bought my first pair of skis on here and they have a pair of Salomon s8 11 or something like that. (Can't really tell) I was looking to get some sth 12s or something that isn't a rental binding. Are the holes for the bolts on all Salomon's the same or am I going to have to get new holes drilled?

If im not mistaken, i think the new Salomon bindings are a wider hole pattern than older models

It depends which bindings you get. If you go for the new sth2 you will need a remount. If you go for an older sth12 oversize you should be able to use the same holes and just add one new hole for the heel. If you go for a sth 12 driver you will need a total of 3 new holes and 2 holes will need filling.

any worthwhile (unless you are a peanut) solely binding will require a remount.
