Post reasons for not wanting to live in or near Detroit and I will shoot them down because Detroit is fucking awesome and everyone should be jealous of the people that live there.
Im actually from the Detroit area, bring on the hate. The media gives us a bad rep, but we really deserve most of it, we havea lot of lazy fuckers and corrupt politians
take a fucking shit on ICP why not, u list a bunch of bullshit but fail to acknowledge the most successful band to ever come out of detroit??? think about, look at that little list of ur and ask yourself are any of those still relevant??? more than half of what u list aint even relevant anymore or even in the game
once I was in detroit looking for the greyhound station so I asked this random fed ex guy dropping off a package where I could find it and was answered with absolute jiberish and pointing in 5 different directions. I was like how the fuck are you a delivery guy.
Being a post industrial town Detroit has it's woes but without the technical base that has been a part of Detroit since it's beginning it's a main staple and lifeblood for this entire country. That is not to say other Midwest industrialized cities don't share in this, but literally shit gets done here that no one else in the country can do. Not to mention a lot of this countries history shares it's story with Detroit being a major part of it. For example the first expressway was built here for quick traverse to and from work. Everyone knows the story of the automobile and where would this world be without techno?! I mean come on! And if you ever feel the urge to hook up with some big booty bitches we have a lot of them. So ask yourselves, where can I find everything one could need in life, and look no further!
You know there's something wrong when a city in the supposed first world is asking the UN for help because 150,000 of it's residents just had their water shut off. Detroit's story is actually quite sad; the city's been a shit-show and on a downward slope for almost a century now, and it's unfortunate there are people who are, by poverty, still being forced to live there.
That place is a toilet. Not your run of the mill clean toilet in your house. It's an out house after baking 12 hours in the 100 degree sun at an outdoor music festival where the drunken festival goers shit all over every piece of plastic they can find.
But Detroit and Trick Trick are cool for making Detroit a "No Fly Zone" for other rappers and not letting Rick Ross get to the stage for his performance.
"Ross was scheduled to play the Summer Jamz concert, which the Detroit radio station Hot 107.5 threw at Chene Park Amphitheater on Saturday night. But when Ross tried to enter the venue, a group of people, reportedly led by Trick Trick, refused to let him enter. He never made it inside."
In terms of android population, Detroit has the lowest in the US!! That's probably because no one with superior brain power would ever go there, regardless it's a point for them.
