Where to mount on3p jeffery 114

i have already decided to buy this ski for next year it has the perfect dimensions for everything i am going to be doing and appears to be the best ski for me. i will be using them for literally every type of skiing but mostly inbounds all mountain jibbing and back/side country, but they might see a day or two in the park. i do not want to center mount them for obvious reasons, but i do not want them mounted too far back what are your suggestions NS?

other info: i am 5'9" and weigh between 145-150, i will be riding the 181 version of the jeffery 114

if it a pow ski -2 back from center and if it is a park ski center mount..all mountain fun, -1....but i really like center mounted skis even for mobbing all over, as i am a backseat skiier

so i would recomend anywhere from -1 to -2.5cm back from center..

Uhhh...

I think the reccomended mark is -4, I'd say -2.5 if you are going to bring them into the park. But I would just stick with -4. Thats where I'm going to mount mine.

If you're not going to use them in the park very much, just go with the recommended mount, they absolutely crush everything at that mounting point and it isn't that far back that they're unusable in the park.

says the person posting to gear talk about where to mount a ski. i gave you my opinion, i have been skiing now for 15 years, my style is my style... there isn't one way to ski, i personally like skiing backwards more than forwards so most of my skis stay close to center mount to aid me in that... with the exception of a tapered and super directional powder skis which are mounted -2.

Trust me you will have way more fun on those skis mounted closer to at a -2 rather than a -4...they are back country free style skis designed to be whipped around and skied backwards and generally fun to ride.


a pow ski with more of a tapered tail and shovel tip, a more directional traditional pow design then i would go father back.

i mean i work in a ski shop. but, when i asked my fellow employees none of them new what was best for an on3p jeffery even though we sell them in the shop. i am also the only one that really enjoys all mountain freestyle so i thought id ask a group of likeminded individuals for some suggestions.

but -2 or -3 does seem a bit more appealing to me than -4, my current skis are mounted at -3 and i love them
