I absolutely love a lot of music with little to no lyrics. Two of my favorite tracks on my current playlist are both by Black Violin, and they're called "A Flat" and "Brandenburg". I'm probably an odd duck for that. My lifting playlist changes pretty regularly. Another couple favorites with lyrics are "The Reflecting God" by Marilyn Manson and "Trying to Find a Balance" by Atmosphere.

Generally I love stuff with a good beat regardless of whether or not there are lyrics. Early 90's hip hop is awesome. That said, there have been days when I've lifted to classical music or no music at all.

Most of the time there are others at the gym before me and they either listing to 80's/90's rock/metal or top 40 and (on really bad days) country music so I've just learned to lift to whatever's playing. Olympic lifting doesn't lend itself real well to using headphones.
