Replying to Taking an old snowboard and making a longboard.

So I have an old snowboard that I broke the tail on, its snapped but not broken off. I was thinking that since I have one good tail still, I could cut it and turn it into a longboard, throw some trucks and wheels on it and cruse around with one good tail and the other side just cut into a rounded corner.

Anyone try this? I saw something online where someone took a ski, chopped it in half, put it side by side with trucks and made a longboard. Has anyone done something like this?
