Rewriting the stickies.

Guess this is more a question for the mods here but I was reason through the stickies thread on buying boots and the op is very out of date now. It could use updating as some of the details have aged a bit. Would that be somthing you guys woul like to see? Would you like the stickies updated so they are more relevant?

Id be happy to take on the boot one and I'm sure a few other guys like one nerdy may be willing to get involved too but do you guys want it?

if only there was a way to highlight them a bit more to get more attention, still so many threads asking already answered questions. It doesn't bother me a ton but it sure would clean up a pretty cluttered forum section.

We'll maybe if before next season we can update the stickies maybe thy would be more usefull. Maybe have them updated each season. But I agree there are a lot of threads which could be answered in one place like the problems with boots thread this season.

Rather than being written by just one person, it should be more collaborative.

Maybe a cult to get all the ideas together and then someone could write a very thought out new sticky thread?

Ok so take the boot fitting one. Would you like a thread where people couls post how they think a boot should fit and then say me and onenerdy go over everything and draw up a best possible list.

The other thing I was not sure about is what people will want. I could write pages on exactly what a boot fitter is doing but it won't really benifit anyone unless they are already a fitter. I could also write on how to fit yourself but obviously that is never a good idea. So what would be best. Maybe a list of what to expect when you go get fitted.

Some cult forums are still useful even tho cults are dead like the summer setup sticky in the build a jib cult. As long as they only update the ones needed to be updated it's a good idea
