Psg was a huge, successful club prior to the big money. They had a few down years, but had a ton of support and trophies
So did Chelsea, they were routinely decent in England before the money, it just pushed them to become world class. They have just as much history as PSG.
Arsenal would be thankful to have a player from Costa. Yes he's a massive cock on the pitch, but he has insane passion, workrate and aggression. I don't like the dirty side of his game, but I rather he be on our team than the opponents. Any team would be better with him on it.
Honestly this was fucking awful from us today. Absolutely horrible refereeing for both teams, though more for PSG. We've had a bad few months of form, we need to pick it up now that we just have league to focus on.
No way Zlatan's was a red. Neither Costa nor Luiz should've been on the pitch. Veratti was arguable. Chelsea should've had another penalty. The attitude of some of our players were disgusting, expecting for the result to come just because they were playing against 10 men. If Zlatan had stayed on, Chelsea would've been more sound mentally and less lethargic. We were definitely the better team before he got sent off, looking more menacing attacking. I honestly think it harmed us, though not as much as PSG. They wanted it much more and played much better. They deserved it without a doubt, playing down a man, with two late goals. No idea what Mourinho was doing playing so defensive against 10 men, we could've sealed the game and backed off.
Mourinho was actually respectful in his interview, saying PSG deserved it, we played badly and the ref made mistakes.
Bayern to me look like the team to beat. 9 of the starting 10 outfield player had either a goal or an assist today, Robben of all people excluded. They are insanely balanced, have great depth, and every single player is world class.
Now that Chelsea are out though, I will be rooting for Dortmund to win it if they can get past Juve next week.
