fujaromeIf you're a plastic fan who somehow ended up with arsenal I'd say you made a mistake somewhere along the way.
From what I've experienced, psg fans aren't actually as bad. Probably because unlike city or Chelsea, they were actually a decent side with a huge fan base prior to being bought, despite having a rough few years.
It's just awful though when you see some American or anyone for that matter who claims to be a die-hard Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester...Whoever fan. Yet they don't know their history, their squad, and they have no plan to ever see them play.
It has to start somewhere. In America, European soccer games only truly started being widely broadcasted in the past 10 years, meaning up until that point, people were reduced to the few major teams (Man U, Arsenal, Barcelona, Madrid, AC and Inter Milan, Juve, etc.). It would make sense for people around my age (22) to be a fan of one of these teams because it was who they were introduced to at an early age.
Who cares if they don't know the full length history of their team? I probably know the history of RM better than a lot of people, but I only started supporting them in 2000 when I was 8 and did a lot of research because that was my schtick.
