podolski made a strong case for himself tonight. He has such a cannon of a shot and great ability, he just has to play.

Great performance overall. Joel Campbell impressed, the ox did well, ramsey looked like he did last season.

Overall impressed with the kids they played too. Only conceding what seemed like the most angrily struck freekick of all time...not too bad.

Bellerin stood out to me, he's made a few good appearances this season.

Missed the game but saw the highlights and that near post, top corner shot by Podolski was gorgeous, that is his trademark shot. He has the best shot within the team bar none. No need to mention Ramsey's lol it was beautiful.

Really looking forward to the PSG-Barca game, too bad Fox Sports has to show the shitty City game so I'm stuck to watching a garbage online stream.

That finish was gorgeous by Giroud, you never realized what you had with him at first until he was gone for so long. He is so damn consistent. And Bellerin is damn fast, able to keep up just about anyone on the pitch, he played very well today. Great result!

put him up front with Sanchez creating chances and welbeck drawing away defenders and it works.

Yeah I definitely agree with his difficulties when up there alone. Welbeck just always seems so awkward on the ball, never really confident but can't hate on his workrates and pace which goes great alongside Giroud.

I can't wait to see how everyone meshes when Ozil, Walcott and Ramsey are all back; I'm hoping for the best! Just need some damn Defenders now.

yeah the diving thing pisses me off! hopefully they'll be punished internally and try and weed it out. haven't seen the giroud incident yet but heard it was silly

Arsenal played brilliantly all game, even with 10 man. Sanchez is the man. And yeah that win-streak is impressive but its boring to me. Plastic RM fans and zero competition in La Liga. Real exciting...

PowPiratehaven't seen the giroud incident yet but heard it was silly

Giroud was running onto a ball and got pushed from behind by Onuoha into the ball and keeper who was rushing out. Giroud then got up, put his head in Onuoha's, he flops to the ground and Giroud gets sent off.

It should have been a foul on Onuoha and I could see where Giroud's reaction comes from because he could have gotten hurt. Especially with him just coming back from his leg injury. Just should have controlled himself better.

Certainly they are a historic team but that doesn't mean they don't have a large success-driven fanbase alongside the historic, pure RM supporters. I just feel like its far too easy to support a team like Bayern or RM. They just have fun with these 10, 15, 20+ game win streaks and domination of title races which these supporters then decide they quite enjoy.

RM and Barca are 99,99% verified plastic though. They are so plastic that going anywhere near either of their stadium will expose you to a BPA dose that has enough carcinogenic effect to instantly give you leukaemia.

From what I've experienced, psg fans aren't actually as bad. Probably because unlike city or Chelsea, they were actually a decent side with a huge fan base prior to being bought, despite having a rough few years.

It's just awful though when you see some American or anyone for that matter who claims to be a die-hard Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester...Whoever fan. Yet they don't know their history, their squad, and they have no plan to ever see them play.

You think? Arsenal are still better than 97% of the teams in Europe, and the fact that they do often find a way to mess up winning trophies makes it easy to be a plastic fan. After all, nobody WANTS to be thought of as a plastic fan, and what better way to hide being plastic than to pick the best team in Europe that doesn't win a lot of trophies? Maybe I live in the wrong part of the U.S., but I know a lot more plastic EPL fans than La Liga just because the EPL gets much more exposure and is much more accessible now that NBC has a tv deal.

I just hate the plastic thing in general because you really have no idea how much of a fan someone is of their team, and ultimately it's just used as an ego boost to think that, because they like a certain team, and you like another, you're somehow automatically a better, more knowledgable fan than they are

So if you decide you like soccer you have to start in Football League 2 for example to be a fan because they aren't big popular clubs? But oh wait, you can't like that team if you don't plan on paying thousands of dollars to go to England to watch them play? I better go spend hours researching a team's history just so i can be allowed to like them.

It would make sense for people around my age (22) to be a fan of one of these teams because it was who they were introduced to at an early age.

Who cares if they don't know the full length history of their team? I probably know the history of RM better than a lot of people, but I only started supporting them in 2000 when I was 8 and did a lot of research because that was my schtick.

whats funny is that at the age of 3 i was given my first jersey, a barca jersey by my uncle who is a HUGE fan. for some reason that turned me to arsenal because by 9 i was a gunners fan. iv not really been alive during the golden days but at least i can watch all the replays right?
