London and Paris

London is sick! There's so much to do in london but I highly recommend taking a bus out of the city and checking out stone hedge. It was my favorite part of the trip

Paris. Good god. You could spend months there.

Uhm, if you're at all into art there are so many museums to see and check out. Not sure what's currently showing. But last time I was there (~5 mos ago) it was quite impressive.

I think Deyrolle is still kicking around. A lot of it burned some time ago, but its basically a gigantic baller taxidermy shop. As for flea markets check out Les Puces -- it's a HUGE flea market on the outskirts, but totally worth it. Feel free to forego all gift shopping until you stop here.

Paris has a lot of odd-ball museums/shops, if you're into the obscure chances are good your cup of tea can be found.

Going up to Montmartre at night can be quite an experience. There are some wonderful cafes/bars tucked in the streets up there, Amelie's market is up there from the movie, fantastic view potential, etc.

Paris is such a wonderful walking city, just walk and interesting things will find you.

If you're into history, well, consult the obvious guide books.

Spent a month in Paris and my two favorite things I did were going to Versailles and checking out the Catacombs. I enjoyed the Musee d'orsay more than the lourve. Pretty much just walk around and you'll run into cool stuff. Learn some SUPER BASIC french phrases and you will get WAY better help than speaking in English. "Je suis désolé, je ne parle pas français, parlez-vous anglais?" And you'll pretty much always find someone willing to help.

London... my favorites were the Museum of Natural History (free) and the Tower of London. If you have a day, I highly suggest taking the train to York. York is my favorite place I have been so far in England (as far as cities go).

Pre order tickets online for the Eiffel Tower. Then you won't have to wait in line for like 4hrs to get tickets, you might only have to wait 20 mins.

Is it parlez vous anglais or tu parlez anglais? I got taught the former but French people have always corrected me?

I think in this situation vous would be formal and the other would be what you'd use in passing, kinda just like a a "yo, you speak english?".
Definately could be wrong, most of this is based off French I learned in school, weird canadian french.

its hard to sum up what to do because theres so much! the touristy stuff is cool but I would recommend a visit to Shoreditch its pretty hipster loads of independent bars, shops etc and loads of cool art.

for paris I would recommend booking visits to gallery's and museums in advance so you don't spend all day waiting around inline. but I would fully recommend jumping on a tour bus for a day. its the best way to understand the city in a sort space of time.
