Binding Brake Size

I just ordered a pair of J Skis with 90 base and wanted to get the Marker Jester Pro's for my bindings. Was curious if the 110 brakes would cause any problems.

that's a bit too wide to get away with IMO, something is going to get caught when you go switch. HOWEVER, I'd say go ahead and buy the 115mm brake size (assuming that's the only one available? no 90mm available?) as most shops tend to have lots of extra marker brakes and can usually just switch them out for you (although you may or may not get used ones).

110 is big for a 90mm waist ski. Most shops will have a fist full of spare brakes kicking about so i would drop them a message/call before but it shouldn't be a problem to get a suitable brake.

You could also just go with the 110/115 and bend the brake a little smaller, not too hard to do as long as you have access to a vice

why would you ever bend a brake inward? that's a terrible suggestion even if it is possible...

I'm guessing he is buying them on a good deal, it's not like fks 14 vs fks 18 where it makes a huge difference, the jester pro simply has more durability without going overboard.

Straighten out the brake, measure the underfoot of the ski, then rebend it? I did it this year when all I could get with my new bindings was a 100mm brake
