trissWhich pair do u like better
I'll be using them for rowing and chillin
frogskins or Holbrook
For rowing, I would go with something like the Jupiter Squared, if you don't want the spandex look of a Radar or Flak Jacket. The rubber on the arms (they call it Unobtanium) gets stickier when it gets wet, so they will stay on your face easier. Croakies/Chums are still a great investment though, especially if you're dead-set on Frogskins or Holbrooks.
You don't want fakes. Of course, if you lose real ones, it is much more of a bummer. But if you take care of them, and don't lose them (seriously, get croakies), they are 10x better than fakes. Real Oakleys have much truer optics, much more durable frames, and some ridiculous impact protection (

Also, for rowing, as I'm sure you know, polarized lenses are going to be great. If you don't want to go polarized, Iridium lenses (though not the fake ones) do offer a bit of glare reduction on their own. Real Oakley polarization has a much higher degree of clarity, as they don't use a film glued between two panes of lens (like I'm sure the fakes an many other glasses are made), but the polarization is injection-molded into the lens.
I own a pair of the Jupiter Carbons (Ice iridium polarized), as well as a Holbrook (Ruby Iridium). They are both great, but the Jupiters stay on my face much better, and I wear them much more often because they're polarized.
If you are dead-set between the Holbrook and Frogskin, go Holbrook. They are made with a higher-quality frame material, and in my opinion, the Frogskins just feel cheap (paying $100+ for a pair that feels cheap kinda sucks). Frogskin arms also have a higher tendency for the arms to pop off (though they do pop back in). Maybe look into Frogskin LX if you like the style. It's an acetate frame, so a bit more durable, and it uses a metal hinge in the arms. Unfortunately, the metal hinge means if the arms break off, they're done (although Oakley's warranty policy can sometimes cover such breaks). They also make a Holbrook LX, if that sounds more appealing.
I get that pricing kinda sucks, but do you live near an outlet mall with an Oakley Vault? Every few weeks they run a "buy one get one half off" where if you get a full-priced pair, you can get a normally sale-priced pair for an additional half-off the sale price (meaning you could snag a sale pair of Frogskins for as low as 25$)
I hope this helps. If you have more questions, feel free to ask here or via PM. I work at an Oakley Vault, so hopefully I would have an answer for you.
