Sundance DH (May 23rd-26th)

Hey guys is anyone going down to Sundance for the DH race next week? I'm in a tough spot and have no ride but already paid all my entry fees ect. Front Runner can get me down to Provo (I live in SLC) but I can't seem to find a way up (taxi or rental car are my last options) to Sundance. I've considered hitch hiking but I don't think anyone would pick me up with a big ol DH bike.

I'm a friendly 4th year geologist at the U and would really appreciate the ride if anyone was going. I can pay for gas/beer ect…

you might have better luck than you think hitchhiking if you ride to the mouth of the canyon and can run into another DHer headed up to the race. If you are in full DH gear its not as sketchy for them. worst case you ride the 14 miles from provo.

Maybe consider coming up the PC way. There's usually a pretty good PC crowd at that race.

If you get a ride to PC, it is pretty much all downhill until the access road of Sundance. Cruising down 40 would be interesting on a bike though...
