I don't understand why they had the vert ramp at the end of the road. I mean I understand to get the shots with a huge crowd in the back and the capital but instead of having the crowd on both sides it was one end. You couldn't even get close to that ramp.
Not that I really care about vert anyway it was just on today.
I barely even watch it these days just the events I want to see on espn3 after the fact, skip anything I don't want and maybe check something else out if I'm stupidly bored.
It seems like it wouldn't be that hard to get decent announcing there. Also I still can't stand the fact that they brought in rally to get some more motor action going on and booted bmx dirt.
I mean obviously you need to make sure it stays profitable but I'm pretty sure xgames is pretty damn profitable. Also they don't seem to have a problem with having too many events when they can add stuff like moto x best looking bike, rally best paint job, commentator best high five and whatever else they can think of. Even if they didn't televise the event it wouldn't have been that hard to do bmx dirt. That said the course looks pretty interesting this year.
I'll be watching the next couple days. I really hope somebody decides to start another big contest. Even if it's not really competing with xgames I just care about the event. Xgames just derped out a long time ago

FredyFerlNo it's best run out of 2 in prelims and best run out of 3 in finals, but still that street course looks more like a tranny course, the course is really weird and it showed with some pretty low scores in prelims.
To me, the format is pretty boring, as oppose to Street League where it's a cumulative of a run, a best trick on the impact section and the best 4 out of 6 tricks anywhere on the course, wich make it more diverse than watching the same runs over and over again. Still, no matter what format, to me, contests tend to get boring after a while.
GrabsForFunBummed they dropped the Streetleauge formula for skate street. The best formula I´ve seen in any competition, period.
I hope some of the big names speak out agianst the Call of Duty competition. That is some whack shit

kingsskierRally cross showed what a real racecar driver can do vs the other guys who came from other backgrounds. They compete, but they don't know how to pass or drive without hitting other people and Speed was uncatchable in any of his races.
Vito and the other sideline announcer guy both are terrible and need to be fired/replaced ASAP! Vito sounds like he has a dick in his mouth and doesnt seemed to ever know what he is supposed to be saying and the other guy is just an idiot.

Granite_StateAggressive inline was sick. Those to Japanese brothers were dope. I agree they should bring back all the old stuff.

Thought the bmx dirt comp went pretty well. Was wondering how speed would be at the top but seemed to work well. Still can't believe x got rid of that event.

kingsskierI just wish they were able to get more speed. I like the idea to loop back up the hill, but they lost so much speed. The last too jumps were too close together as well. So many people cased the last jump. I just don't think they had a steep enough hill at that venue
