This movie is going to be so fucking dumb. Man of Steel was incredibly bad and The Dark Knight trilogy did a perfect job of Batman, they should just leave it be.
The only Batman movie I ever thought was awesome was The Dark Knight. All the rest were pretty shitty films, so why shouldn't Ben Affleck get the lead? Might as well just go all in and make Nick Swardson the bad guy.

That's foolish, everyone knows the best villain for Ben Affleck would be Matt Damon.

Matt Damon would actually make a pretty sick villian. Idk who, but it would be awesome to see him play the bad guy for once. Especially after how badass he looked in elysium
I personally don't like the badman logo they came up with. too bulky imo.
movie might be ok but I refuse to go into any movie thinking it will be good only because when they are I like to be surprised. also if it is a let down when you think "this is going to be a let down" then you can be like "I knew it!"
Why do filmmakers keep trying to give Batman a serious persona? They will never be as good as Adam West-era Batman. Just accept it. I'm looking at you, Christopher Nolan.
It looks pretty good imo. Better than I expected. They were going for an older, battle-tested batman and its looking like it here.
I say this would be awesome if they are planning on not going for a more dark batman like the dark knight. I hope they make it more like batman around the Adam West era.

I thought it was decent/entertaining...But way too much CGI and not enough plot or character focus. Just like 90% of other movies coming out of Hollywood these days.

Exactly. Ben Affleck is one of those actors who could either be really good or really bad.
In movies like "The Town" and "Good Will Hunting", he was good. In most other movies that require him to branch outside of his Boston roots, he really isn't anything special. I mean, I guess Argo was an exception and the guy is an incredible director, but Bale's Batman is going to be some really big shoes to fill. It's just not gonna happen.
Kevin smith talks about the photo. Also read some other things about it. Affleck says he wouldn't have taken the role if it was going to be another daredevil movie. There have also been statements saying its going to be mainly about batman in the later years or something plus its going to have a new take on the batman. Really intrigued by those statements.
