University of Utah. Very close to Snowbird/Alta, two of the best ski areas on Earth. Cheap living in the SLC area. Good city (i.e. low crime, nice people, etc). Lots of awesome mountain biking etc during the off season.

Better yet, quit school and be a ski bum.

I'm going into my 4th year at Montana State. Visit is the only advice I can give. Montana isn't for everyone, the school is small, Bozeman is small, but the great outdoors and the rad skiing around Bozeman at Bridger and at Big Sky are amazing. I know a lot of people that have loved it here, and just as many who didn't. Don't just let the skiing suck you in, cause you have to live here after all. As for the school itself, I personally love the school, and we are rapidly growing, like outrageously. Bozeman to me is meh.

It depends on what kind of skiing you want to do. Do you only want to shred park with the homies? Do you want to open your backdoor and see nothing but mountains? Do you want to go to a small resort and start a family? Do you want to throw down sick turns on the bunny hill with your frat? Do you actually mean to ask which is the best college for waterskiing?

1. Decide which are the 5 best colleges for your chosen field(s).

2. Look into what mountains are around that school.

3. Scout out each of those college's ski clubs. Ski Clubs are good because it will set you up with intelligent and like-minded individuals (and oftentimes a ride to the mountain).

4. Make a budget and stick to it.

5. Study hard, ski harder.

6. Obligatory ??????????????
