Haha I work in I banking in a small group in industrials and we always use you guys. The stories they tell us about clients who get crushed by collateral is crazy
Summer job is as an intern (I guess more of a temp at this point since i've gone back a few times) in the purchasing/procurement department of a government agency. Most of the work is classified so I cant really talk about it..
lol but actually... have a "Confidential Clearance" level n shit which is kinda cool. Had a pretty intensive background check involving a bunch of stuff. Every time I return for work there I have to go through the process again n again. When we have companies submitting bids for contracts its pretty crazy how seriously its handled , all thing kept under lock and key in a safe room and bumped to "Secret" Clearance
Heres a $767,000,000 contract I had to assemble during a 2 day period, its the biggest one I've personally handled but some of the people have made much bigger ones.
Kinda cool knowing I had the only legal carbon-copy of something worth nearly a billion dollars in my hands
After I graduate I'll prob seek a job in bio-fuels and bio-refining or with an Agr-GMO seed company (inb4 uneducated hate).
Ideally I'll just make some dope ass start up and not work for anyone.
^forgot to mention weekends I work at a lake as a sailing instructor / dock guy / whatever (drive the 6 wheel gator like a madman around the lake, everyones tight as fuck), was a lifeguard up until a year or 2 ago

I didn't even realize there was a Confidential security clearance. That's practically unclassified, you can just walk around with that material anywhere as made apparent by the fact that you posted pictures of it on the internet. I don't really know why they'd make you get that, seems pointless.

All it means is the information about bids/vendors/contracts etc cant be spoken about to anyone (my post had no where near enough information about anything to mater). Wasnt trying to act like it was some crazy high level shit, just think its kinda fun
I work in beer distribution. We have the rights to all MillerCoors products, Crown Imports, Heineken Imports, Sierra Nevada, New Belgium, Alaskan, Dogfish Head, etc. My job is just helping out delivery drivers during the busy summer season to make sure they get back to the warehouse in a timely manner.
I work on a lake cleaning seaweed off the shores. It sounds like a super shitty job but I get to be out on the lake everyday and Its like a 50 hour work week so I make pretty good money for a summer job.
during the school year i was working at my school's pub and terrain park. In the summers i usually count fish on the goodpaster and salcha rivers. Im currently working on my archaeology degree and this summer i am hoping to get on a project.
Working in Forestry for the summer as an area planner. I survey and lay-out blocks and roads, timber cruise, gps streams, collect data and fill out site plans. 100% field work, and up to half of the hours in my days are spent driving, boating or flying into the site. Loving life at the moment - excuse the instagram pics, but I don't bring my actual camera to work
pretty sure im gonna be working at wachusett cc as a cart attendant, it is the chillest of chill work, wash carts and drive around the course doing random small jobs. also get to play free golf there and it is probably my favorite course in the area.

Honestly guarding was cool for a couple years but it became the most boring shit ever, even as a manager. Once I began working at the lake I saw how much more fun it was. Working in a cubicle actually fuckin sucks tho, not at all better then guarding lol

Haha. Ya makes sense. Guarding can definitely get boring.
basically yeah, Only attitash is a lot bigger in terms of land. our biggest zipline (which I believe is the steepest one in North America) Goes right over the k-120 and k-90 ski jumps. then we got an all-metal alpine slide with badass banked turns you can haul down. Then we have ropes courses and a 60ft drop tower. it was fun, good hard work that paid decently.
now I get to make the same but sit up in our museum and sell tickets/give tours of the park.

I'll never get rich doing it but I love it. Next winter will be my 9th year 10th season and I still love it. I'm going to do it till I'm old as shit or dead.
